Hotel Turist — Hotel in Reșița

The location of the resort hotel is very beautiful around the "Semenic" mountains, it is a very large courtyard with an amazing landscape. After the revolution, the "Mihăilescu" family bought the hotel belonging to the Romanian state located in the "Caraș-Severin" county, without taking into account the clients' requirements. The services offered by them leave much to be desired, so I arrived at 18:30 inside the hotel and asked until what time the meal is served at the restaurant, they mention that until 22:00 in the evening. When I have asked for a menu, they said they didn't, but they would still make some food. When I checked in, my identity card was withheld, which is illegal and will be returned the next day at check-out. After the accommodation in the room, cook and guard came with the table with food, thus making an exception to the rule because the hotel does not offer room service. I started eating and found a nail in the cabbage salad, seeing this I went straight to the cook and showed him the situation. She didn't apologize, but she was in astonishment state, I asked for my ID and so I left at 21:00. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, who does not take care of their own guests. The hotel is in clean also it has a swimming pool, a camp fire and a grill you can use. Also it has a small sport field. It is still doing some renovation outside. But it is understaffed. Still it has one of the most amazing restaurants. The restaurant is more a mini museum. Old cabinets, old chest, tabels, chairs, sewing machines, paintings and much more. Also the food is really good, made by the hotel bosses (a nice family). Also the places you can visit are nice if you got a car or a motorcycle. If not you can take a stroll near the hotel. Or fish in the lake or the small stream near the hotel. All in all a nice place to stay for 2-3 days. And a must see restaurant for all that...

A terrible experience. Staying there in November is a nightmare. The rooms are cold, even with the radiators turned on (they turned it on only for a few hours, like 19-22 and the temperature was max 5 degrees in the night, I woken up shaking every few hours because it was very cold).
