its a wow. You might call it a luxury habitable museum. Spark clean and modern bathrooms/kitchen; however, You are to be amaized by the old style and elegance, vintage design and arhitecture of the buildings. The owner (belgian) descendes from a very wealthy aristrocratic family with roots in Transilvania. You can feel the smell of the years 1800. Each corner of the house(s) is full with realy precious pieces of art that can easily fit in a museum (paintings, furniture, statues, books etc). There are 3 old style houses refurbished and moved (a house can be moved!!!) from the countryside into the garden and this is not all. If You visit the tower, You will find several floors full with real old books and pieces of arhitecture. The staff is very friendly and also the owner. If You are curious about Transilvania culture, this is definitly the place to be. Definetly...

This place is a gem, a house taken out of a fairy tale. From the fine combination of local rustic style, flemish old pieces of furniture and modern amenities, to the comfortable beds and snow white bedding and towels, from the care and hospitality of Maria, the manager, to the beautiful garden adorned with hundreds of species of plants, this place is unique, cozy, and the perfect place to spend the night. The manor is a stone’s throw away from Sibiu, and 6 minutes drive away from the Mocanita train stop that runs along the valley of Hartibaciu River, with rolling hills dotted with houses, a fairytale location in a idyllic landscape....

Truly one of the most unique and authentic experiences we’ve ever had! Highly recommend!!! Staying here feels like going back in time, the property is incredibly beautiful and feels secluded. We stayed in a tower room and were able to go up to the tower for amazing views of the town and mountains. For anyone staying near Sibiu this is a must! It is only a 15-20 min drive from the city and but you get the tranquility of the countryside. Maria the property manager was also incredibly responsive...
