We booked 2 rooms at Bio Haus Cioran for 2 nights one week ago. Owners are very nice people offering us as welcome treat cold lemonade and visinata (local schnaps)||both very good. A very very nice and gentle dog John always welcoming us, asking for attention and caress. We stayed in one of the rooms with walls and ceilings made of wooden paneling. Enough space, cleanliness, good mattresses, basic bathroom equipment. One evening we had dinner at the property, very good vegetables soup, second course also good and plentiful. We choosed this location for an event I really want to recommend to all the people comming in this area from April to September, organised each week end. I don't know if I'm allowed to say the name of the association that organizes these events, but you can ask the hosts about, sometimes they are such hosts in their yard. It's all about good healthy local food, very nice people, and very...
Read moreWe stayed as a couple in April 2016. Place is fairly difficult to find, we had to call for directions - try to find this out before you arrive in Nucet, as phone reception is sketchy!||On arrival we were welcomed with open arms and offered some lovely home-produced drinks. Maria and Emil, and their lovely dogs Jon and Sara were great hosts, and even with minimal English, made us feel quickly at home. The setting and the views are fabulous, the food (we stayed D,B&B) is lovely home cooked using produce from the garden, but the rooms could really do with some updating. Our TV didn't work and the wifi didn't reach to the room. The bathroom was fairly basic. All of that said, we didn't spend too much time in the room since the balcony and patio areas are so lovely and we were lucky to have hot weather. Overall, a very nice stay and I would recommend staying here - thanks...
Read moreNot easy to find, hidden at the end of the village with no sign! But what a location - sitting on the terrace looking at the beautiful views, sheep streaming down the hill, with homemade lemonade and cake. Both the breakfast and the evening meal were superb - home cooking at its best with fresh produce, wine, Schnapps and homemade cherry liqueur. The friendly dog took us for a walk through the village and beyond (although his barking all through the night wasn't quite so appreciated)! Nice garden to wander around and plenty of seating areas under the trees. Room fine, comfortable beds, agree with previous reviews that bathroom could do with some TLC and chairs on the balcony would be a nice addition. Hosts both speak some English and were very friendly...
