We did not stay here, just had a lunch. We were looking for fish around and this was the closest to the Brancoveanu Monastery. It was entirly empty the moment we arrieved and we left. After, discussing over the matter for a while we decided to give it a try due to my husband's adventurous way of loving and turned around. I did not feel quite comfortable with the idea with having lunch at a place with no guests. But we considered the fact tat we wanted trout and these guys were actually growing and selling fresh trout. It is not a clean place at the inside, no need to mention fhe bathrooms and the stuffy smell everyone, howevere, we ate outside. The service was fast, but hey, we were alone and the fish was actually really well prepared. We opted for grilled and fried trouts with fries and polenta. We were happy with the choice. I was staying in the beginning of September, in an apartment, at this hotel. The price was low but you can see why. Deplorable cleanliness, dust and mildew; Bathroom, furniture and linen old; Sockets hanging from the wall. You can notice the trout dishes from the restaurant, but the prices for certain dishes are high, the waiters move chaotic, the order takes a long time. This is quite a remote place, close to Complex Turistic Sambata de Sus. It has simple rooms, quite old furniture and not the best conditions. But... this is a place of silence, from where you can easily make walks in the forest. It is a place of relaxation, a place for the soul. There is also a trout breeding facility, from where the restaurant is directly provided with fresh trout. The value for money is also very good here.
