Pensiunea Livada Amely — Hotel in Săliște

Why 1 star ? The host is friendly and I could see they tried, but this is not enough. It is clear they are at the beginning and have a lot to learn, so here it is : You never ever cut the grass when you have people in to relax. In the same time forget about the orchard, and trimm the grass where people hang out, in the yard. The yard needs some rearengement, a good ideea would be to have a table, to clean the sun loungers ( chairs ), have swing, just work a little bit on that. Also, are you serious ? You were about to use the concrete mixer ? Just let me know next time and I'll help you build an extra room. The room was clean, but I could not watch the tv due to the bad signal ( tried it the next day in the morning, same thing ). Also I found a pair of underwear in the room balcony ( not cool ). The terrace is kind of crowdy, even though we were the only guests. There is a huge rule when it comes to hospitality ( as a host, make yourself invisible ) don't make me feel like I'm intruding and for God's sake, don't cut the grass !!! The food was good, but once you'll setup the table in the yard and you will smoke there, everything will change. As mentioned above, you've tried but you really need to do better. Good luck...

I would definitely recommend it if you want rest in a quiet and clean place:

One day there was intense smoke smell inside; Narrow streets, but not difficult to find the location even though the property is delimited by the forest and river; Not many things to do in the area, besides resting, eating and relaxing in “ciubăr”- a huge wooden bucket full of hot water; Unable to pay with the credit card (yet) but there are two cash machines at 5 min drive;

🏃🏼Places to visit nearby: Gura Raului dam - 30 min drive; Paltinis ski resort - 45 min drive; Sibiu city center, Astra Museum, the Zoo; 👉🏻 what I would suggest the owners is to make a small brochure with the nearby attractions and the distances.

Am plecat de-acasa fara prea mari asteptari, am cautat o cazare pentru weekend intr-un loc care sa fie accesibil din punct de vedere al timpului petrecut pe drum, camera decenta ca spatiu si baie curata. In plus urmau furtuni si ploi in perioada aleasa de noi asa ca eram pregatiti pentru un weekend cam anost. Am fost surprinsi ulterior din toate punctele de vedere, incepand de la comunicarea cu pensiunea, Stefan a fost atent sa confirme toate detaliile cu noi inainte de sosire iar de cand am ajuns acolo am fost primiti ca acasa. De aici a inceput unul din cele mai faine weekenduri petrecute de noi in tara. Pozitionarea e senzationala, livada de zmeura si coacaze langa cazare perfecta pentru parintii care isi doresc experienta fructelor bio pentru copii, padure sa-ti clatesti ochii cand te trezesti dimineata si iesi pe balcon, daca e si un pic de ceata cu atat mai bine, rau care se aude fascinant, cat sa adormi lin noaptea, drum de tara si, daca aveti norocul nostru, cu balti in care sa isi poata testa copilul cizmele de cauciuc si talentul de explorator. De documentat musai cu ceva informatii despre limacsi inainte de aventura ca sa stiti sa le spuneti copiilor ce sunt melcii aceia fara cochilie de pe marginea raului, da’ daca uitati, nu-i bai, aveti gazde pregatite sa va informeze despre toate cele. Apropos de gazde, nu va faceti planuri sa mancati in alta parte ca nu are rost, de la mic dejun pana la desertul de la cina sau gustari totul este savuros, am mancat mai mult decat obisnuim noi sa mancam in general cand plecam pe undeva, ni s-a spus ca de la aer dar eu tot cred ca e de la cat de buna-i mancarea acolo. Sa nu va faceti griji nici de cum veti petrece timpul oricat de neprietenoasa ar fi vremea, Camelia si Nelu au pe langa abilitatile unor gazde calde si primitoare si talent de povestitori. Ii tare fain locul dar si oamenii is faini. Ca tot spuneam de asteptarile cu care am plecat la drum camerele nu sunt mari dar sunt asa de cozy si de bine amenajate, numai bine sa-ti amintesti ca esti in vacanta, pe taramul relaxarii! Multumim mult pentru experienta, o vom repeta...
