Hotel Levisticum — Hotel in Sărata

One might not expect much when spotting a Motel sign just off the road past Bacău after a day's running back and fro with work. As for the Levisticum name, that does not boost up the first impression much unless one considers a bowl of steamy sour soup where lovage might be of use. But we were pleasantly impressed with a spotless, correctly appointed room, service with a smile, respectively with a filling, tasty breakfast-cum-lunch meal during our paperwork the following day. The service was prompt, friendly, and the dishes were very tasty. I stayed in this hotel for 5 days, a business trip. The hotel is outside the town, far from the centre, right beside the main road to Bucharest. Not so noisy but used for a one night stay by almost everyone. ||Rooms: average, one cannot have a party there, but fair in dimenssions. Do not travel in winter, it is very cold inside. Beds are awfull, seccond hand, i guess, not at all good to sleep. No many tv alternatives, so get a book, as the wifi also doesn't work. Levisticum is a good choice for those who are looking for a budget accommodation. The hotel is not central located, but you can go to the city center by car in a few minutes. A very good thing is the food. They have a very good chef, and the food is awesome.||Near the motel is a beautiful tent for events, wedding parties and so on.
