We arrived and thought the place was beautiful. We found the reception to check in, and after telling them when we would arrive there was no one there. We waited like 10 minutes for someone to finally show up. Checking in was a nightmare. They said they spoke our language which was the main reason we booked it. Up till now every place was wonderful! The lady in reception didnt have the slightest clue what we were saying. I booked through booking.com and paid online and even had the paper and reciept to show and I tried to translate with my phone, but she kept saying reservation only. Finally an english speaking woman came to help clear things up, whole she was helping the guy and the receptionist kept yelling things we couldn't understand which was pretty intimidating. We ended up paying them. The outside was welcoming, but not so much the people. So many wonderful facilities we read about, but no one mentioned a thing or anything at all for that matter. Nothing about the restaurant, wifi, or even how to check out. The rooms were ok. Definately below expectation compared to other places in the bigger towns and more touristy places we stayed at for a cheaper price. Old decor, and stains covered the walls, some of the lights were out. In the bathroom, the shower water got everywhere and the hot and cold were opposite what they said on the sink. Dinner was pretty bad as well. We waiting close to 15 minutes for before we saw someone who seated us. We were hungry, so of course we waited, we didnt know what else was nearby. So much for speaking our language because we didnt know what a single thing on the menu was. Our waitress did make a point to smile at us though and thats about as welcomed as we felt. When we checked out the next morning again, there was no one in reception to...

I will try to be as objective as possible.
We were a group of 10 people (some visiting from outside Romania) and we booked 3 apartments. When I called the owner she said that they also have a restaurant that closes at 10:00 PM. We got there at 8:40 PM and the owner literally started to raise her voice at me saying that the last order was at 8:30 PM. She did not say anything about this on the phone even though I told her that we are going to arrive late in the evening. Again: she was not trying to be polite or discreet. She started to raise her voice at me in the parking lot with everybody there. I then had to explain to the group her very very rude behavior. We went to Hateg which is just 13-15 minutes away and had a great dinner at another restaurant.
Also, they had no heating and the rooms were cold. We used all the additional blankets that we found in the closet. They only had hot water in the evening. In the morning we could not use the showers because the water was cold. Again, nobody told us this...
The rooms were clean and they also have a small fridge in the apartments.
If you cannot find any other place then I would recommend to go there during the summer when heating is not needed and get there early - maybe this way you can have a different experience. And avoid the owner - she is rude.
I would never recommend anyone to go there in...
Read moreWouldn’t recommend, wouldn’t come back. Feels like they’re trying to make or save a buck everywhere.||||Pros: Deluxe Room is nice, the garden is quiet, relaxing and you have lots of space.||||Cons: Long waiting time for food (up to 1h30 for meal+dessert), poor menu. Expensive breakfast and below expectations(7€/40 min wait). No seats available around 8pm, but there were people from outside of the accommodation dinning there.||||You can hear everything clearly through the walls. Theres’s a slight smell of sewege in the bathrooms, in some rooms it’s more pronounced than in others.||||Poor management overall, had some discussions with the manager. We were left in complete darkness after 11pm, there were no lights on around the garden to see the path.||||Expensive tennis ground(20 lei per person per hour), especially as a group, and same for table tennis( 10 lei per person per hour). I heard of no such thing as paying for person for a sports ground.||||Everybody is in the pool, because of its free entrance.||||You cannot...
