Hotel FAN - Sebes — Hotel in Sebeș

We stopped at this hotel for 1 night on our way to Transalpina and our experience was quite bad. Checked in late at night, and, even if they had enough free rooms on other floors, they checked us in up at 4th floor, in a unauthorized accommodation space (on the entrance door taking us to 4th floor there were 2 notes saying "Floor Closed" and "Access Forbidden"). Access very difficult using very narrow wooden stairs, a real safety hazard. Rooms at this floor have shared bathroom, cleaning of bedrooms was not properly made: furniture and mirror had stains all over, the floor was not wiped, no windows, only a velux which you could not open and had a paper glued on it. We saw a room at 3rd floor, but were not impressed either: strange smell in the room, bathroom looked very poorly. There was an unjustified price difference to pay in order to get a room at another floor, but we were not willing to pay for it for such a poor quality. All properties in Sebes were booked out on that night, so we decided to stay, just to have a bed where to sleep, but would never ever stay here again...better in our car. This hotel sucks. Some of my acquaintances found a dead bird behind their bed. In another room was a rotten apple and in mine was a used tissue. It's absolutly disgusting and terrifying. An entrance to a horror movie! The rooms were not clean, as mentioned previously, and the walls were dirty, so were the floors. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and it doesn't deserve its 3 star imo. The air conditioner barely worked, the placement of the furniture is terrible also. What a shame. Clearly out of its prime if it ever had one. The service isn't terrible but they don't speak a word to you. They just do what they gotta do and don't even fake it. The location is not the best really. The view is terrible and next to a highway, almost no nature nearby to look at woch really brings the place to shame, a little more trees and grass would be preferable instead of stone and concrete. The shower didn't really work, it only gave more water the hotter it was so I had to shower in cold water. The toilet also barely worked in my friends' room. The food is meh, couldve been way better as well. Over-all, don't go there, the place is clearly old, I don't recommend it and is terrible for school trips, if anything a quick night in and out would be recommended but there's really...

This hotel is very good and the staff is always trying to help and to make your time here as good as possible. |I stay in this hotel every time I come to Sebes. |The rooms are big with good furniture, big TV and very good internet speed (the Wi -Fi connection is covering also the breakfast area). Also the internet is free :). |The bed is big with a very comfortable mattress, perfect for a good sleep.
