Hotel Cindrel — Hotel in Sibiu

We stayed there for 5 nights. The mechanism of the door was broken so we couldn't use the access card we received. Because we couldn't enter the room, we received a key but we could lock the door only from outside. So we stayed the entire journey with the door open when we were inside, also in the night. They never cleaned the room. Only once, when we requested, they cleaned the garbage bin. The water in the pool was cold. Breakfast - the same every day. Although the rooms and the bathrooms are big and nice and the view is great, the services are of a very low quality. We do not recommend this hotel as a 4 stars hotel, as is presented in the travel offers, but as a 2 or 3...

The hotel and the entire Paltiniș area is reachable via a 30 minute drive on a twisty road with great scenery.

The lobby is a great place to wait and hang out over coffee, before you take a slooow elevator up to your room. The room itself is clean and if you're lucky enough to get one with a view towards the front of the hotel, you're met with a beautiful mountain landscape.

The restaurant plays soft jazz while you wait for the food, which is good, but nothing to write home about.

Parking is available and the hotel has a pretty big indoor pool, which you can access directly with the elevator.

The hotel is nice, but the rooms aren’t very clean. Our 1year-olds have crawled nearly every spot of the room and have found so much dust. Also, the carpets are not so clean. Toilet and sink were clean, but the shower wasn’t. The towels were clean. Indoor pool was nice, with warm water, but the basement, were the pool is located, looks deserted. The food is not so great, and they don’t have all the plates written in the menu. They do not offer child seats.
