This is a really good budget option in the center of Sighet and you can walk to everything. I called last minute to get a room for one night. When I got in the following morning they let me check in immediately even though check in is normally at 3pm. Very helpful front desk staff who let me store my luggage after check out, stored my leftover pizza in the fridge, and let me hang out in the lobby to charge my phone before leaving for the train station. Motel owner was kind enough to offer me a room to check in many hours earlier before official check in time as I arrived in an overnight train (of cos, this is limited to availability), without surcharge!||All the staff were very helpful in tips and helping me with bus timings and getting taxis. I choose this location and booked on a different site. Unfortunately the Sighet youth basket ball tournament had to be canceled, due to corona virus concerns, so we had to cancel the stay. The owner accepted my request to cancel without fee (one day stay). It was such a nice gesture. I really appreciated and thank you for your understanding. Hopefully this is not against any TripAdvisor policies... I had to write a few words. I always appreciate kindness so keep in mind what type of people are the owners when considering this hotel.
