Pensiunea Popasu' — Hotel in Suciu de Sus

We stayed here for 2 nights, with another family, while passing through the area. The place is very clean, with spacious rooms, and private bathrooms in each room. Clean linens and towels were provided, and the beds are very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly and attentive. They stayed up for us and served us an amazing dinner shortly after we arrived. Hostess is very friendly and polite. They served us breakfast extra early, as we wanted to leave early for an excursion that day. The food is 10/10! The owner didn't speak any English but made us feel very welcome. We had a lot of fun communicating with her using Google Translate. She cooked for us both evenings, with her daughter. The food was basic but fresh, good quality and plentiful. The drinks were great value too. A really well run and exceptionally clean Pension. There was just one other guest during our stay but no diminution of the service offered. The breakfast was absolutely massive and even as breakfast lovers we could only manage a small percentage of the meats,cheese and eggs provided. || The area is very interesting and unaffected by tourism.
