Pensiunea "La struți" — Hotel in Targu Neamt

This is a wonderful place. At the beginning of the Russian war on Ukraine, my wife escaped Ukraine to Romania with no place to go. We found Pensiunea La Stuti online and she arrived with her pets in the middle of the night very tired and hungry. The owner, Vasile was waiting for them with hot food and tea and welcomed them to make them more comfortable. I met them there soon after and stayed over a week. Vasile and his staff were amazing and very hospitable during our time there. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was peaceful. La Struti was an oasis in a difficult time and Masha and I will be forever grateful and never forget the pleasant and comforting experience we had. We stayed here 5 days and it was our second time here. We loved to stay here. Our daughter had a great time over here and liked the animals so much. She wanted to bring them hone back in holland. We were sleeping in one cabana with 3 bedroom, 2 showers and 2 toilets. The vieuw was amazing and its so calm here. We eat here 3 times and it was very good and not expensive. Quite a nice, different place with plenty of animals (cows, ostriches, rabbits, pigs and some cute dogs). For the pigs and rabbits you need to ask the owner for a tour as they are inside.

The restaurant is quite crowded with poor ventilation. (Not ideal in covid times). However, you don't need to eat there to see the animals.
