Cinciș by the Lake — Hotel in Teliucu Inferior

I will do my best to sum it up for who does not have the time to read all of it! English first and Romanian at the end. This experience is mine and my family's so the other staff working there might be better at dealing with their clients than the one assigned to our table.

I visited this place plenty while growing up before it got its latest renovation and I must say the attention to detail in how the place looks and the choice of design is absolutely amazing, 10/10! The service however has been a complete and utterly dissapointment as the male server was starting to set down table sets and bread for the next people to sit at the table without communicating that to us, of course this was to say " you paid, now leave" absolutely outrageous action. He did not raise to the task of working in such a beautiful place.

On the overall place and look, the renovation really does the location justice. The view couldn't be more spectacular due to the glass fence on the terrace that allows you to take it all in! All the finishes work harmoniously with each other and give you this aesthetically pleasant experience!!

Motel Cinciș, you should take a closer look at your employees as this will impact your business negatively if you don't do something about it. I can tell you that people are sold on emotion and how they feel when eating and if your staff leaves us with a sour taste, me and others will never return even if your place looks amazing.

I will be very reluctant to recommend this place to anyone. I will make sure to prepare them to be let down on the customer service side and just focus on the view.

We came for just one night; we really loved staying here.|This hotel is called a ‘motel’ as are others in this area, but it is not a motel as I would think of a motel.|The hotel has an official rating of 3 stars, but I think it is better than some of the 4 star hotels we have stayed at in Romania (and elsewhere).|There are several hotels dotted around Lake Cincis, but the Cincis Motel is up a little higher then the others and has a great spot for lovely views. |We found the hotel without any problems (we used google maps to navigate) and the roads to get there were fine. There is plenty of parking for hotel guests. |We booked the Villa, which had 2 bedrooms and a lounge and kitchen, with a terrace and barbecue area outside. It was really nice. The weather had been very hot in the towns, but it was cooler up in the mountains, by the lake; it was a very nice temperature and, although the Villa did not have a/c (I think the main hotel rooms so), we were fine.|We used the swimming pool, which has great views; it is not a big pool and it was quite busy. There was a hot tub near by; we did not use it.|We are in the restaurant - there are lots of tables inside, outside under a glass roof and also some on the terrace looking over the view - it was a really nice space. We had good food and very good service.|The breakfast (included) was a buffet and this was a good spread of typical local breakfast food - meat, cheese, bread, olives, some cold salads, fruit, some fresh pastries. We ate the dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and stayed a night in the hotel.

The restaurant had an awesome view and wide range of dishes. Nice music was being played and sound system sounded good.

Food was not tasty and even though steak was ordered to be medium, it arrived well done. Meat didn’t seem to be fresh. Overall, the food was a bit disappointing.

Regarding the room it had awesome view and was clean and organized. However acoustics were done very bad and it was very noisy inside the room.

Regarding staff both at the reception and restaurant, they all seemed to have no interest in customers and were a bit on the impolite side.

All in all, both restaurant and the hotel were expensive for what you get. Unfortunately it’s a bit hard for me to recommend...
