Not really worth a visit!
I really don't understand the other ratings, where spacious rooms and reach breakfast were mentioned.
Rooms: rooms are clean...
...and tiny, 10-12 m2, with bathroom included. Bathroom is also small, shower, toilet, sink... On the wall at the bed-side, a mirror with large frame is located, perfect for pounding into it with your elbow while you sleep. Classical design of the bed means you can bump into the sharp edges of the frame each time while passing by.
There is a mini fridge, which is empty.
There was NO room-service, my room was not tidied. Bed was not made up, used towels were left on the floor in the bathroom.
On the positive side, there is an A/C and an extra heating in the room.
Service: it was a huge problem getting an invoice with the company name and address. The young receptionist with long eyelashes and artifical nails was chewing a gum all the time, while not being able to find the company. After a long waiting time, finally, the invoice was prepared.
Breakfast: 'rich' breakfast is a joke. Yes, you can get some eggs, cheese, salami, yogurt.... but that's about it. You get old bread, only one sort, the only way to eat is to toast it first. No buns, no variety. There is a coffee machine, which got broken the first day, with 5 people around it, not being able to bring it into service again.
So called orange juice is a plain artificial orange syrup that gets diluted with water...
Food: there is NO food in the hotel. There is NO restaurant nearby. The closest place is a shopping mall 20 minutes away. The only thing that could be bought was a plastic bottle of water. The receptionist (the one with the long nails) was not willing to order anything for me. 'You need to find it yourself'...
The area is not that quiet, there was a constant commotion coming from the outside. Hotel is located far away...
Read moreMy stay at Hotel Classico was truly exceptional! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and exude a refined "Old Money" design that makes for a first-class experience, especially for those who appreciate retro aesthetics. Every detail is thoughtfully crafted, creating an ambiance that’s both elegant and welcoming.
What really made my stay special was the staff – incredibly friendly, professional, and dedicated to making the stay as pleasant as possible. I’d especially like to commend the receptionists Daniela and Adela, whose warmth and hospitality left a lasting impression. They handled every request and question with a smile and a genuine desire to help, which is a rare quality.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Timișoara – Classico is more than just a place to stay; it’s a true experience of hospitality and...
