Nora Pension — Hotel in Timișoara

Me and my brother visited 'Nora' on our recent trip to Timisoara. Our host strongly recommended visiting this restaurant as we wanted to experience traditional Romanian food. He seriously was not wrong. There was certainly plenty to choose from on the menu! ||We went with the traditional platter which cost a very reasonable 110LEI. As you can see from the photos, we certainly had plenty to eat, with a fantastic selection perfect for two individuals. ||The environment inside was very lively, with plenty of conversation and background noise. Our waiter was also incredibly friendly and helped us to select options based on our requirements. Not once was he pushy! ||If you're visiting Timisoara and would like to experience the local, traditional food; I strongly recommended visiting Nora. Incredible value, very tasty...

This little hotel in Timisoara simply exceeded my expectations. The staff was very kind and friendly, helping you with all you needed, it has an excellent restaurant and terrace and the food was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was fresh, various offers and huge size. Very good coffee. The hotel is stylish, clean, with lovely details, it looks like a vintage mansion, but with modern facilities. The air conditioning was very strong and that was a real comfort because it was very hot in Timisoara. One of the most famous pensions and restaurants in Timisoara. The food at the restaurant is great. They have their own butchery, so the pork and beef are always fresh and have great quality. The staff is friendly most of the time. The rooms are very clean and the furniture is all solid wood, which adds to the quality. Some rooms are better than others, they have different views, noises. Some of them have smells coming from the kitchen in the evening.
