Hotel Muntele Mic — Hotel in Turnu Ruieni

The hotel is very close to the Felix and Nordica ski lifts. ||Extremely warm and welcoming staff. They left us with the feeling that we had visited some friends.||Breakfast is plentiful, tasty and prepared with local products. A vegetarian would probably not be too excited, but the staff is so kind that I'm sure vegetarians will be pampered as well. The hotel restaurant does not sell alcoholic beverages, but customers are warned about this, so they can come with wine and beer in their luggage. Corkscrews and wine or beer glasses are provided upon request at the reception. ||The rooms are large and with balconies. The furniture is a bit dated but the mountain views are spectacular. Had a nice weekend break here with my family and some friends. I loved the rooms and expecially the beds, they are very confortable, definitely worth booking here just for the beds alone. Also the rooms are nicely heat up which is a big plus expecially during Winter season.|Food is not spectacular though, they have a small menu so not a lot to choose from, staff is fine but could be a bit more friendly. |Unfortunately, not a lot to choose from in the area in terms of food in the area so I guess this place is just as good as any. 4 out of 5 stars mainly due to the accomodation, food is 3 stars max in my book. |Other things to mention: the fridge in the rooms are not properly cooling off, also they don't have baby chairs even though a lot of families with small babies are coming here. We were at this hotel for 3 nights, the room had spiders, it was extremly small, the towels were in really bad condition smelling of mold and the food was discusting. Last evening they served us mici but it was all burnt! The children could not eat it so we asked to change it. The owner’s respons was that no one else was complaining about it so the problem was ours that we were too fussy. ||Location was in really bad condition, first day that we arrived it was all full of mud and dirt around the hotel.
