Great place, quiet, with a stream that flows on one side of the property, huge garden, to chase with the little ones, with a hammocks, 2 hanging chairs, outdoors terrace and a place to make a camp fire, sit around it and tell fishing stories (who knows any). Great location to stay and visit the surroundings: the Malaiesti Fortress, the Vulcan (Valcan) pass (great car drive, with stunnig view at the top), the Fortress of Deva, Maria Waterfall, etc. Just ask the host and they'll guide you to the right places.

The home made brandy (palinca) and the white wine .... haven't had a glass of wine in 14 years, but the way it smelled, just had to be tasted.

Forgot the food. Oh, the glorious food! Freshly made by the friendly hostess and her little helpers. Freshly fished stroud has been delicious! And the surprise homemade desserts were extremely tasty.

I stayed here for ten days, and I had the most wonderful experience. There are many nature trails and beautiful places to see nearby. The owner has built this villa at Italian standards. The internet is super fast. The bed is large, and the mattress is of the highest quality, not like the cheap foam mattresses that seem designed to simmulate a black hole. The second floor rooms have sparrow nests on their balcony. Everything is super clean. The shower has a fully working drain, and also a soap holder, unlike other bathrooms that seem designed to limit the hot water consumption of the guests. Each night I enjoyed a tasty soup at a very good price. The service was outstanding. I hope to be back...
