La Casa Cu Stuf — Hotel in Vădeni

This is a place like no other in Braila. It is especially nice here in the summer time, but a sunny day in spring or autumn will be enjoyable arround here. Even if you get a table inside, you must take your time for a walk around the estate. Youll enjoy seeing the ducks, the swans and some other wildlife that can be found around the lake as well as the fresh air.

The food is mostly traditionally romanian, nothing too fancy but always spot on as I've found out myself.

There's free parking and I've always found a spot.

They also do events, I could see this as a great wedding venue or something of that sort. They also have rooms for accomodations if needed.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming but this feeling tends to diminish the busier they get.

On the downside there are a few things worth mentioning but that I don't think influence the overall experience.

Sometimes the music gets a little too traditionally romanian for my taste.

You can't just drop in unanounced, they rarely have free tables in the summer weekends. You must make a reservation.

It's kind of remote, I don't think there's public transport that gets you here. But I can't imagine something like this inside the city limits anyway.

Good traditional food, most of the things on the menu are delicious. Just make sure if you order grilled meat (like I have, turkey breast) you mention to the chef not to over-cook it, to make it tender. The service is impeccable, neat and on time. The whole concept of the restaurant is cozy and outdoorsy, offering a nature-friendly experience, where you can enjoy the quietness (if the music is not too loud), the lake, swans and other animals on the premises, as well as a good terrace.
