Pensiunea Ponor — Hotel in Vața de Jos

sincerely, i am a bit afraid of writing a review, as this might cause the place to fill up by next time i want to go there and relax. ||This village is something a quiet seeker will ever want to be in. Especially pensiunea Ponor has a good location, basically the last building in the village's far end from civilization. ||What is the trick here is that the pension has an inside pool and also an outside garden where you can sunbathe.||The pool is with thermal water which is heated. ||At our visit the sauna was not functional.||I want to specially thanks to the admin lady for taking special care of us and the kids, organizing many things and also surprising us in a positive way. Kinds loved it to the max. ||The late afternoon swimming, the careless biking till the next village and beyond, the good food, the quiet and the fresh air in the mornings are making this place a 5 star. ||For the ones who drive: the parking is beside the pension. Don't be afraid of the dogs, they are more friendly than you think. ||For the adventurous type:you may cycle around (yes, there are also bikes for rent) or just drive in a radius of 150 km to find real interesting places to visit: Scarisoara ice-cave, hiking in Cetatile Ponorului and so...

This clean, quiet, and comfortable place was an oasis from the highway and back road driving. I called requesting a room for me and my two mini schnauzers around 22.00/23.00. I was exhausted from driving from Krakow. They waited for me and helped with my luggage - no hassle check in, so I could go straight to bed. What kind and pleasant family....
