Simina — Hotel in Vișeu de Jos

Spent one night there because it seemed remote enough to not have barking dogs in the neighborhood (see my Turtle Camp review). Owner had a dog there, which seemed to be of the calm and silent type. Unfortunately, at night, the dog started barking without pause, right under my window. Couldn't sleep for hours. Managed to get the dog inside the house hallway, which calmed it down, but another guest let it out again, and the barking started anew. Got hardly two hours of sleep that night. Owner doesn't live there, so he's not affected. Owner also didn't post his phone number anywhere so I couldn't contact him to do something about it....

Great location for a nice vacation. Clean and comfortable rooms, nice and helpful owners, it has pretty much all that you may need during a short vacation, relaxing in nature or inside, including attractions for children. Close to various points for sightseeing Maramures. I recommend it for everyone who wants a definitely recharge of...

Ca și locație este o cazare decentă. Camerele au fost curate și am avut căldură din belșug, însă prosoapele de la baie (jalnice) ... d-alea de se dau la înmormântările asistaților sociali. Am fost cazați 3 nopți în perioada anului nou și am am avut inclusă masa în sistem demipensiune. Dezamăgitoare a fost atitudinea proprietarului care aduna tot ce rămânea pe mese, rearanja și aducea, din nou, a doua zi. Cel mai surprinzător a fost însă faptul că trei familii au cumpărat șuncă de porc de la proprietar, iar cand am ajuns acasă aveam TOȚI in loc de 2kg câte 1 kg și jumătate. Absolut de necrezut, dar ,din păcate,adevărat. Vreau să cred că nu așa se poartă un maramureșean adevărat. Prin urmare : Locație 3 stele, iar proprietarul doar O rază a unei steluțe...
