Bârsan — Hotel in Vișeu de Sus

The Pensiunea Barsan is a delightful place to stay whilst visiting the railway at Viseu de Sus (where the owner is a driver). The railway runs behind the pensiunea and is a short walk from the station (ten minutes at the very most) down a partly unpaved road.||||The friendly welcome from the family (and their lovely black and white cat) made our three day stay a pleasure. I stayed in one of the ground floor rooms (sharing a bathroom) which was simply furnished, clean and very comfortable. Other rooms in the pensiunea had private bathrooms. WiFi was available with a strong signal. ||||Breakfast included a selection of bread, cheese and meat. The pensiune is a good place to stay for everyone that want to make a trip with the narrow gauge train Mocanita. The pensiune is a family owned buisness. You you eat in the family kitchen. The food is very good. Homemade and delicate. A free Tuica comes with the dinner. The owners are very friendly, the room is nice and clean. O primire dezastruoasă! Nu aveam pretenții să fim primiți cu pălincă (vișinată, horincă, etc), cum am mai "pățit-o" prin Maramureș...! dar totuși.. în ziua plecării spre locație, in jurul orei 09.00, am confirmat ora sosirii 13.00-14.00 Surpriză : noi ajungem la ora 14.05! Intrăm, căutăm proprietarul, nimic! Sunăm la telefon, nimic! După 20 min iese o domnișoară, somnoroasă, îmbrăcată în pijamale (ora 14. 30), care revoltată și foarte supărată că am trezito și că am venit prra devreme, spunându-ne că check-inul este la ora 16.00!!! Am mers până la urmă să ne arate camera, care bineînteles că nu arăta ca cele de pe Booking! A doua zi, alte persoane au pățit aceeași poveste! Trageți singuri concluzia!!!!
