⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointed and Unsafe Experience – Not Luxury as Promised

My wife and I booked a premium suite with sauna and jacuzzi at Hotel Galactic Ludmila, expecting a luxury experience after a five-hour drive in the summer heat. Unfortunately, what we encountered was poor communication, lack of professionalism, and a complete absence of service.

Upon arrival around 16:00, the owner informed us that there had been a power outage, which he claimed had started just 30 minutes prior. He reassured us the electric company was working on it and it could be resolved "in 5 minutes to 3 hours." Trusting his word (and having prepaid online), we dropped off our bags, quickly used the restroom, and left to cool off at a local café — only to be told the power had actually been out for over three hours already. This raised serious doubts about the owner’s honesty.

Hoping the situation would improve, we left for a few hours to a nearby mall. When we returned in the evening, the hotel was locked down and the owner was nowhere to be found. No receptionist. No lights. Just an empty, dark lobby. Only thanks to a kind local family nearby did we learn the owner had left and wasn’t planning to return for hours. Their teenage son, doing his best to help, even admitted he would understand if we wanted to cancel and get a refund — but obviously, he was just a kid and couldn't assist further.

When we finally reached the owner by phone, he refused to speak and messaged instead, claiming there was “too much noise” where he was. This left us feeling completely abandoned and unsafe, in what was supposed to be a “luxury” hotel. We were told the power would be back within an hour, but by then we had already decided — like most of the other guests, judging by the empty parking lot — to leave. We informed him of our decision and requested a refund, as we never even entered the suite.

To our surprise, he insisted on charging us for the first night, despite the fact we had no access to the services we paid for, saw no staff, and were never properly checked in. In the end, Booking.com sided with us, agreeing this was not acceptable treatment.

We chose to take the loss and drive home late that night, emotionally drained and extremely disappointed. We understand that power outages can happen, but the dishonesty, lack of communication, and unprofessionalism made this experience one of the worst we've ever had with a hotel.

Esperienza pessima, assolutamente da evitare!

Ho avuto una delle peggiori esperienze di sempre in questo hotel. L’unico aspetto positivo è stato il personale, gentile e disponibile, ma tutto il resto è stato un incubo, a partire dal proprietario, arrogante e maleducato nel modo di trattare i clienti.

Al momento del check-in, siamo stati costretti a pagare immediatamente con la scusa che altrimenti non c’erano posti disponibili. Una richiesta inaccettabile per una struttura che si definisce a 4 stelle.

Abbiamo prenotato una stanza con jacuzzi, ma dopo appena 10 minuti dall’accensione l’acqua calda è mancata. La stanza, all’apparenza pulita, era invece piena di polvere, persino sopra gli elettrodomestici della cucina, rendendola inutilizzabile. La doccia era intasata e l’acqua non defluiva correttamente. Per ben due volte è mancata la luce in tutta la struttura.

In camera c’era una lavatrice, ma non abbiamo potuto usarla perché lo staff stava lavando degli accappatoi nello stesso momento. Tutto questo, sommato alla stanchezza di una lunga giornata di viaggio, ci ha costretti a rimanere per la notte, anche se avremmo voluto andarcene immediatamente.

La mattina successiva ho segnalato tutti i problemi al proprietario, ma invece di accettare le responsabilità e trovare una soluzione, ha reagito in modo aggressivo e minaccioso, arrivando persino a tentare di colpirmi con una testata. Solo dopo una lunga discussione e la mia minaccia di chiamare la polizia, mi ha rimborsato meno della metà dell’importo pagato, con un atteggiamento sprezzante e maleducato.

A peggiorare ulteriormente la situazione, io e mia moglie incinta ci siamo svegliati con delle irritazioni cutanee, probabilmente causate da parassiti nel materasso. Siamo dovuti correre in farmacia e valutare un controllo medico.

Non consiglio assolutamente questo posto a nessuno, soprattutto agli stranieri, dato il trattamento ricevuto. Mi auguro che le autorità competenti effettuino controlli accurati, perché un’esperienza simile è inaccettabile per una struttura che si spaccia per un hotel di lusso.

Am petrecut un sejur de vis la acest hotel și cu siguranță voi reveni! Totul a fost peste așteptări.

Mic dejun Diversitatea și rafinamentul au fost excepționale. În fiecare dimineață am găsit o selecție generoasă de preparate: fructe proaspete, brânzeturi fine, mezeluri locale, ouă gătite după cerință, pâine artizanală, croissante și prăjituri delicioase, sucuri naturale și cafea de specialitate. Fiecare detaliu părea bine gândit — aromă, prezentare, prospețime.

Gazdele Oamenii care conduc hotelul sunt mai mult decât primitori.Ne-au făcut să ne simțim ca acasă din prima clipă, s-au asigurat să avem tot ce ne trebuie,totul cu zâmbet, cu atenție.

Camerele Camerele sunt pur și simplu de vis. Mobilier elegant, detalii de design care creează o atmosferă relaxantă, saltele și perne confortabile. Noi am avut și jacuzzi și saună în cameră, ceea ce a făcut sejurul cu adevărat special — relaxarea după o zi plină a fost absolut perfectă.

Dacă vrei un loc în care să te răsfeți, să te relaxezi, să te simți bine din toate punctele de vedere — gust, confort, ospitalitate, acest hotel este alegerea ideală. Recomand cu...
