I came to my best friends wedding.||I reserved a couple room with matrimonal bed though I came alone.||||got there - asked for the room - the receptionist said i can have a double room with 2 beds. i told her i wanted a matrimonial room.||she said if you want to take it ok if not, not.||because of that i refused the room.||||went on the terrace asked for a cold water, ice, lemon and a decaf expresso.||||she came with a bottle of water and left - ||i asked for a glass for the water again , ice, lemon and decaf expresso - ||||came back after 15 minutes - and said there is no ice or lemon||after another 10 minutes i received the expresso.||||(i was the Best Man and was there earlier before anybody so there should not have been so hard to serve me)||||--------||the wedding starts||||i received no starters||||i go out and return - a peach was on my plate and a dirty grape.||asked for the waiter to remove that from my seat - and asked him what's this.||condescending he said a peach - and told him i did not order that and handed him the plate to remove it.||he didn't want.||another waiter came along and said - wht does he wants (regarding to me)||||i bursted and went out.||announced the groom i will leave the wedding.||very bad service||||still gave him an anvelope with the wedding present money.||||overall the worst service ever and the most expensive coffee and water in my life.||||if you have quality standards - avoid the place!||if you're happy with very very bad service then go there||||** the expresso was not decaf..... I felt it when tasted and didn't even touched...

This is a review for the pool: There used to be a handful of seats around the tiny pool. In the meantime the seat number and area has at least quadrupled. The pool is now constantly overfilled to the point you can barely move. The restaurant has decent priced food, which also tastes nice. Beverages are priced +10-20% compared to the city center. Everything looks great. It would have been by far the nicest open air pool to go refresh in, but the incessant, generic, loud disco mixes absolutely ruin all of the great things the place had going. If you go with a friend you pretty much have to yell at each other to communicate. Not everyone enjoys that sort of music (generic remixes of pop music that was boring when it first came out 30 years ago), and most certainly not everyone enjoys it at that volume. I want to go there to relax, chat, refresh. Not to blow my eardrums up.

Conclusion: this used to be a great spot. Now, if you like to stand in an overfilled pool and become deaf from cheap boring remixes, the entry fee of 50 lei is a bargain! It might be a lot less crowded if you come...

This was our third visit here - and unfortunately will probably be our last. The pool is still very good with good service. The hotel doesn't seem to provide any level of service for its guests. Our first night we reported an air conditioning unit in our room that was not effective resulting in a very poor nights sleep. Reported at 8pm - reception apologised and said maintenance would look at it the next day - absolutely nothing. Avoid room 301! In fact the room was not even cleaned or looked at. There was an event our first night so the restaurant was closed but we could eat by the pool - all OK. Our second night we went down to the restaurant around 7pm - nothing. Eventually found someone to come to reception - restaurant is closed - why didn’t you inform us - just a shrug. Even had to call a taxi ourselves.||We used to give this hotel high ratings for customer service - unfortunately...
