Rock & Red — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

It is hard to find a better deal than that. The guest house is located in Rasnov, a small but very picturesque city in Brasov county, in the famous Transylvania region of Romania. ||The hosts, Dana and Iuli live just next door and they are amazingly friendly and helpful. They love kids a lot, so families with children are more than welcome. ||The best thing about this guest house is that you have the comfort of a hotel and also feel like home. Every room has an American style kitchen having all the kitchenware that you need: coffee maker, microwave, fridge, toaster and electric stove and also dishes and pots. ||I have found this idea brilliant since you do not have to share the kitchen with the other guests, thing that is very common in other guest houses. ||For people travelling on budget, this is a smart choice. Having a room with your own bathroom and kitchen, TV, DVD and WIFI at such a reasonable price is really cool. Rooms are spotless with modern furniture. There is also a terrace with a barbecue area, a playground and a large traditional saloon in the basement where you can have a party in case you are a large group.||The location is brilliant as well. The Rasnov Citadel is at 20 min walk. You also have easy access to other touristic area. It is 15 min drive to Bran Castle and the same to Brasov. Also some popular ski resorts like Poiana Brasov or Predeal are nearby. I liked studios with kitchens. The kitchen inside the room was equiped with microwave, coffee pot, toaster, refrigerator, kitchen range, dishes, glasses, table and chairs. The studio had TV with DVD – player. There was access to Free wireless INTERNET.The Pension Rock & Red had a rustic PUB-cell with wooden rustic benches and tables and an area for fun with DARTS, KARAOKE, smart TV. Nice and clean rooms with kitchen and all you need to store, prepare and eat food. Pleasant hosts, briefing you on what to see and where to eat. A small courtyard with modest playground. On the less pleasant side, the bathroom and the shower cabin were very small; Sometimes there was noise from the street trafic.
