Gagarin — Hotel in Kazan

I have been here before and again this year. Booked via Expedia the dates were very good.|I always found the reception staff very helpful, friendly and noticed Ukrainian, Russian, good English and German I heard spoken too.|House and cleaning services also good and the rooms cleaned every day I was here.|Rooms are standard size as you would expect, with tv, mini fridge, safe etc although I would have expected tea and coffee facilities as in every other hotel I have stayed in. |The restaurant serves throughout the day with a good varied breakfast and a nice choice of options on the menu. The price is excellent, (I personally averaged 500-700 uah or 850 for two). especially when you consider the many overcharged restaurants in Odessa city centre - paying 3000+ for a similar meal.|They have a shopping centre adjoining the hotel - very handy with a variety of shops and stalls from a supermarket, toy shop, chemist, to a travel agent.|I would recommend this hotel for a nice stay and...

Останавливались с семьей на двое суток в июне, в период проведения ЧМ. Забронировал на букинге за полгода до поездки, подошла цена и возможность не вносить предоплату - это почему я выбрал данную гостиницу. Забронировал два двухместных стандартных номера, по моей просьбе нам выделии номера, расположенные рядом друг с другом. Номера аккуратные, чистые, без кондиционеров, но с холодильниками. Завтрак (включен в стоимость проживания) не богатый, но все нужное есть. В стоимость проживания также входит пользование прачечной (сдаешь грязные вещи, на следующий день забираешь чистые). На этаже есть гладильная доска. Бесплатный вай фай. Обслуживание хорошее. Минус только один - месторасположение. Гостиница удалена от центра, до метро несколько остановок на автобусе, до ближайшей остановки минуты три пешком. В шаговой доступности есть магазины и столовые. Райончик так себе - типичная окраина. Но в Казани такси недорогое, поэтому по окрестностям можно не гулять. Вид из окон - если кому этот элемент важен - так себе: на парковку отеля и какие-то складские...
