We stayed in the hotel (suite 946) after long flight from Canada on September,6.We should adjusted our "time zones" in brains. We expected to sleep a long, but on Saturday morning builders started to work at 8 a.m. of Saturday. They slotted the walls with heavy equipment, doing renovation beneath our suite. It was extremely noisy. I asked receptionist to stop it,but she said, that builders (contractors) have "their own" schedule and she cannot manage this situation ! No words !!! We had headache. We intended to celebrate "Day of the City",walking and enjoy, but this fact crushed all our impressions.Ladies, working at the reception are not enough confident. They could not answer questions, regarding local "Currency exchanges". Men are good.My advice for management of the hotel: Hang signages in front of elevators and in each corner of the hallways with numbers of suites and arrows. It's hard to find...
Read moreStayed in Aerostar Hotel for one night and experienced terrible service from them. Hotel rate is high (appx. 260 USD dollars a night for a regular double bed room); facility is old, but okey overall; food is okey; the WORST part is service.
Mr Evgeny, the fellow sitting in reception counter, successfully showed his arrogance, bureaucratic attitude, and discrimination towards yellow colored skins, ie, Chinese visitors like us. He basically refused to offer service to yellow skin customers and simply said no whenever you have any service request.
I've been visiting dozens of countries and stayed in different types of hotels, none of them offered as lousy and unpleasant experience as this Hotel. Perhaps the hotel is near to some exhibition centers that's why they feel visitors won't be a problem to them.
Would strongly suggest to remove this hotel from your...
Read moreHotel is big and you can see it used to be a very good hotel. It's time for renovation but still very livable. Reception staff and housekeeping is very nice and helpful. The f&b department is absolutely horrible, the food is so so but the waiters and especially the managers are horrible. They don't know anything about food, are incredibly arrogant and everything you ask is a problem and they will let you know that. They simply don't want to work. Their where 2 tables in the whole restaurant and the manager had to come herself to a table to take an order, she clearly thought she was too good for that and was so rude that we walked out. In breakfast there is no goodmorning just an angry looking guy shouting the word roomcard. Shame for the nice people in reception but...
