Hampton by Hilton Saint Petersburg ExpoForum — Hotel in Shushary

My friend forgot his bag in their shuttle bus on Sunday and the hotel said they were going to contact the driver but up until I left on Tuesday, they did nothing about it and said that they driver has not resumed since that Sunday. Also on Monday I left $320 in an envelope on the reading table before I went out and when I got back I found only $220 and my handbag was checked. I know this because the drugs I left in my handbag were on the table. When I spoke to the hotel about this, they checked their security camera and saw the cleaner who cleaned my room in my absence. Instead of asking the cleaner about the money, they said the cleaner has been working with them for two years so it’s not possible she took it. I then insisted on having the police look into it and they agreed to call the police but they stalled until it was time for me to leave since my flight was boarding in an hour and just told me that it was fault I lost my money since i didn’t put it...

This a a goof value for money hotel. I personally chose it for the location. 10-15 minutes proximity to Pulkovo Airport (LED). It is also well placed if you are going to visit both Pushkin, Peterhoff, Gatchina and spend some time in the Saint Petersburg's city center - it is in less then an hour ride from all of them. Although, if you want to focus on Saint Petersburg, then do not use this hotel for your vacation.

Closest possible proximity to Expo Forum is also a huge advantage, if you are attending anything there.

Hotel is clean. My queen's bed room was spacey and fresh. Bathroom was spotless and quite comfortable (although I wouldn't mind a tub instead of a shower).

Minor negative here is a very deserted view: thus place won't give you any real Saint Petersburg experience, but for a short business trip...

Best place, and I have stayed in Crowne Plaza, Radisson Blu, Park Inn, a few places in St Petersberg but this is the best place of all of them. Price depending on time is cheaper too. If you are staying overnight, or for a conference, it is the best place. Clean, lots of space in rooms in lobby, food is good quality all round. Gym and Pool are amazing. The bathtubs and rooms are big and clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I compare this to US, UK, Asia, Middle East similar Hilton and Hyatt standard for the price and 3 star status it is better than some 5 star hotels in places like Switzerland fr example where you would pay 4-5 times as much and not get the service or amenities.
