Rodina Grand Hotel & SPA SOCHI — Hotel in Sochi

I have spent 3 nights in this hotel in Sochi. I cannot rate it as "terrible" because it has obviously very positive points: it's clean, the design is nice, the views are amazing, the breakfast is good, it looks very luxurious ... but it looks only.||I have stayed in many 5 stars hotels and to be honest, luxury is not only about B&O phones, marble or Molton Brown cosmetics.||It is not acceptable that, in such a hotel, and especially for this huge price, I didn't have WiFi or Internet connection in my room (solution from reception: go to lobby or restaurant; as I was here for business, I would have chosen another hotel if I knew it before), the temperature of the water in not stable in the bathroom, I have to open the windows because it is hot and the A/C is not working, I put clothes to the laundry and they are not ironed (first time I ever see it), I am added things to my bill that were not my consumptions.||Apparently, the Spa is very nice but even when I asked about it, I was not||Maybe I had no chance (this happens) but the staff, who is nice, was not really problem solving.||Value for money is very low. If you want to come to Sochi and enjoy its sun,sea and southern flavour choose carefully the hotel. Sochi today is a big construction site with all that related dirt, noise and hidden sea. I do highly recommend Rodina Grand Spa Hotel. It's not far from the centre however when you are here you forget about all mess and noise. It's an unbelievably beautiful place with a very high level of service and care. The old park kept with great care leads to the beach, clean and well-equipped. Big pool adds to the general atmosphere of comfort and relax. The rooms are spacious, well balanced in terms of design. Breakfasts were amazingly delicious. We went to Sochi for Formula 1 event and it was our second time in Rodina. I would highly recommend staying there. Though being not a part of any international worldwide chains it can boast both elegance and service which is not always the case in Russia.
