I stayed here for a month after work selected the hotel and booked it for me. The stay was pleasant enough, but given the vast range of accommodations available in Kigali, I would not consider the Nobleza again.||||The beds are comfortable and the rooms are cleaned well. There was an air conditioning unit which turned on, worked for 15 minutes, and then stopped working. I made two requests to have this fixed which resulted in nothing - I then gave up. They seemed to enter the rooms a ton. Sometimes I would come back from work around 3 pm and want to take a nap, and if I forgot to put the Do Not Disturb sign up, all bets were off. Even if the room was made up when I went into it, there was always some sort of housekeeping supervisor, someone delivering drinking water (couldn't that be done when the room was cleaned), once even someone coming to deliver sugar.||||The service was rather odd. There were always tons of staff members around but they did not seem to understand how to best interact with guests. They were overbearing at times and at other times not present when needed. The motto is "quality and luxury is our aim" but personally, the thing I enjoy most about a more luxurious hotel is not slightly fancier linens or restaurants, but staff that really understand hospitality, are there when you need them, are absent when you don't, and anticipate your needs. None of that was present here.||||Breakfast is great to have, especially the omelette station - ask them to put a bit of the spicy sauce in!||||Laundry service was very helpful, extremely fast, and very good quality.||||On the morning of my departure, 10 minutes after the agreed upon time for the airport transfer, there was nobody at the desk and no shuttle to be found. I had to search the property for a staff member to remedy this.||||Most of all though, the location is rather weird. Unless you have a specific reason to be in Kicukiro, this is an inconvenient, nearly suburban location. If you work in or want to enjoy more central areas of Kigali, you will spend lots and lots of time either waiting for cabs, waiting for the hotel car, or wondering if you're about to end up as a trauma victim on yet...
Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. One of the highlights is the amazing service — the staff members are always welcoming, attentive, and carry a genuine smile that really makes you feel at home. Their hospitality can be considered a real showcase for Rwanda, where warmth and kindness are part of the culture.
The breakfast is another strong point. It is well-prepared, fresh, and enjoyable, giving a perfect start to the day. The compound itself is peaceful and relaxing, providing a sense of calm away from the busy city. While it is located a bit outside the downtown area, reaching the center is not a problem since motorbikes are easily available and can get you there within 15–20 minutes.
There were, however, a few areas that could be improved. The shower system was a repeated issue during my stay. Even though the hotel clearly posted a note about waiting 3–5 minutes for hot water, the real challenge came when the water would suddenly stop, forcing me to wait another 5–8 minutes just to get even cold water. Despite mentioning this several times, the problem remained unresolved. Finding a more reliable solution would greatly enhance the guest experience.
Electric interruptions also occurred twice during my stay, but to be fair, the hotel staff managed this very well, restoring power within less than a minute both times. Their quick response deserves recognition.
As for laundry, while the service is available, I felt that the quality could be improved to match the otherwise high level of service provided by the hotel.
Overall, the price is fair, the staff and service are excellent, and the environment is peaceful. With a few adjustments, this hotel could easily reach an even higher level of guest...
Read moreI stayed at Nobleza for a month (in Kigali for work) from mid-January to mid-February. So pleased with the hotel, the service was amazing (never hovering or overbearing, but always someone nearby when you needed them), the room was large and comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the food in the restaurant was delicious and plentiful. A particular shout out to the front desk guys and shuttle driver who when they realized the driver we had booked to take us to the airport hadn’t showed, sprang into action and raced us to the airport themselves, getting us there with just minutes to spare. I wouldn’t hesitate to...
