Le Méridien Medina — Hotel in Al Jamiah

Absolutely loved our stay at the Le Méridien Medina hotel - the property was extremely impressive and luxurious all around, the suite we stayed in was extremely elegant and comfortable, the breakfast and the Haram shuttle were excellent, the mosque in the courtyard was absolutely perfect, and the staff at the hotel were phenomenal in their customer service, making an already exciting stay in this blessed city that much better! Salman, Saleh, Fahad, Bassam, and Isra were all tremendous in assisting us throughout the stay, and Salman really went out of his way with a genuine and masterclass level of customer service - he is clearly really talented in the hospitality management game mashaaAllah and we are very appreciative for how welcomed he made me and my mother feel during the stay.

Mazen at Le Cafe was another one who really stuck out and impressed us with how genuine and sharp he was, and he also went out of his way to get us a cake ready within 1 hour, as we suddenly got invited to a local friend’s house that evening and needed a gift. Mohamed at concierge was also really helpful the entire stay!

Thank you Le Méridien Medina team for a memorable stay, I will definitely be back...

I came in very tired from the airport and Murouj was so kind to quickly give me the card and got someone to bring my bags upstairs for me.

I told the staff I was working from my room and I need very reliable internet.

They sent me their IT team (I didn’t know hotels had IT teams)

Yassir from IT came to my room and connected my laptop to the internet using an Ethernet cable. I pulled huge amounts of data and had many video calls I had NO issue not even once, I am very thankful to the IT team they really had my back.

The Le Meridien is a nice hotel and has nice rooms that's the only plus, but as far as customer service the personnel at the front desk are no help at all good example is the first day myself and associates checked in we were told that we couldn't check in until 4pm which was insane because we were told that there were no rooms available, that's complaint #1. Complaint 2 is that there is no fixed gym facility available to those that wanna work out, there is but the gym that they have in the area has been in progress for years and still has not opened it's doors. 3rd complaint is the food the variety is very limited or they don't have what your asking for on the menu and breakfast is always cold or the same item everyday which is very frustrating, but there are food facilities that are in distance in which make up for the lack of the restaurant on the premises. I don't know where they got their 5 star rating from but it needs to be changed to 0 stars and 1 star is just...
