The entrance is bit hidden from road but they have very nice gardens .There is hidden back garden for hotel guests wich is very nice and relaxing. The hotel lobby is very simple and practical , there are some aquarium tanks as decoration wich reminds you of sea.

The Saudi front desk man does not have a clue about his job.we asked if our company payed for goodies from room he said yes are free and when we cheked out we had to pay since was another Saudi man .So bad for the reputation of hotel. The philipino staff are amazing and very well mannered and very good to deal and they know the job better. If they put a philipino at front desk would be much better since they know about hotel better.

They renovate the interior of rooms a lot compared to then coridors and lobby. For the price 517 ryal per room ,wich are small , is too much compared to other hotels Boudl for ex where for this price i had apartment included.

Is very quiet and nice inside overall . The interior is modern wood finishing very well done , simple and practical with modern features. There are goodies, patchi chocolates and France mineral water in room not included in price. The bathrooms do not have proper windows ventilation or even ceiling fan and smell like mold. But they are clean and very nice designed.

The restaurant up is very well renovated .Food wise, amazing selection is available and brakfast is very good , a broad selection of healthy choices and classic english or arabic brakfast very well done.Dinner food was very well cooked , modern , and colourful .

The view from restaurant is very nice too.

The only thing I do not like and need to be removed in my opinion are the carpets, red and green pattern lines remind of old fashion and do not match with new modern features , to put ventilation in bathrooms .

Well done with renovation , feels the new modern, practical feeling. Some of the staff are very polite and friendly .

The hotel overall give the vibes of modern , business and sifisticated atmosphere but still old furniture and curtains in some rooms are present . (Hope they will remove...

I will never recommend this hotel to anyone, it’s the worst experience I had in my life time.

I paid 6000 SAR for my quarantine package, they delayed the airport pickup for 45 min waiting for another person to get in to the bus, after we come to hotel they said we need to go from back entrance and the back door was locked we stayed 30 min to get in to the hotel in hot sun 40degrees.

Again another delay in PCR and the staffs don’t have any trolly or anything they wanted us to carry our bag to the room and the lift was also not working in ground floor.

Food:- it’s better to eat the sand than having their food, they are giving same food everyday. Morning egg and chapati, afternoon only chicken curry and rice, dinner again only chicken curry and rice.

Internet is also extremely bad, I was not able to attend to any office calls, when we complain about these concerns to reception or manager they just take the complain and forget it or sometimes they just end the call, They even delayed my PCR result, my PCR result want not updated in thawakkalna when I say it they say they will check and get back to us, I spoke to 5 people at hotel everyone say the same..

It’s a utter disappointment, and felt very bad to spend the 7 days in this hotel with family. At reception if we ask anything they say they will check and get back to us but they never respond back, even they delayed our second PCR irresponsibly.

Don’t ever get a chance to try this hotel, you will feel like staying in hell for 7 days and you will become depressed for sure.

I strongly not recommending this hotel to any individual coming to stay...

We got a room there for a school event for my daughter, We were promised by the receptionist upon our reservation that they will give us an a free room upgrade(We didn't requested). Day arrived when we are about to check-in, We were surprised to be informed that there were no room upgrade(The receptionist whispered, Maybe if you are a Saudi). We decided to just let that pass that time and move on. Upon our arrival, there was NO assistance at our luggage for checking in. Going into the room, Toiletries are incomplete, It should be good for 2-3 persons and only for 1 person is available. We requested for and extra bed. NEVER arrived. I saw plenty of human hairs on the pillows, Bed sheet. Hallway outside our room smells food. Later few hours i've decided to observe the receptionist downstairs. He is more attentive on fellow local saudi national / arab / American rather than expats/ asian. They have full assistance whichever has the same mother tongue as well. Manager was unfriendly and never offered assistance when he saw us manually carrying our luggage. The free breakfast is okay but you need to ask because they have hidden menu which will be cooked on the spot. The cleaners upstairs are FAR more friendly than the receptionist. Access going to the pool is very poor. This should be 1-2...

I’m really disappointed from the hotel service. I was instructed to stay in an institutional quarantine after coming back from aboard. Almoaibed was selected for me, at the beginning I thought it is a good hotel due to it’s reputation. I paid premium prices to stay in the hotel (almost 20% more of their normal price, btw prices are fixed by the government). The service that was provided for me and the quality of the food was very poor, food options were one to none most of the time. The food came in paper boxes with a presentation that doesn’t suit a 5 star hotel, the food usually was stale, salty or undercooked. I totally lost my appetite and in my last 3 days I felt sick and couldn’t stand the smell of the food anymore. If I demanded a replacement for the food I was told that I would be charged extra because they would give me food from the main hotel restaurant which is different than the restaurant that provides me the meals. Throughout my stay the room service never came to clean the room or even ask if I need new towels. This is a total disgrace and abuse of a great opportunity provided by the ministry of tourism. The way that they represent Saudi hotel is disgraceful and disgusting especially for a 5 star hotel.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. In general, the current reviews for the last week, collected together, reflect this state. Including the presence of dampness, daily degaussing of room cards. And on the night before departure, they managed to please us with a fire alarm that went off because of smokers. Actually smoking could be felt in advance from the ventilation system. In superior rooms (3rd floor) you can find a worn and damaged interior, a dirty phone and lamp, stains on a towel and bed, fungus on the joints of tiles in the bathroom. After the pool, you will have nowhere to dry things, as there are no railings in the bathroom, not to mention a heated towel rail. The swimming pool in general is ok, however the windows of the restaurant overlook it and also the water pool is under the restaurant but is the pool cleaned at this place? Breakfast here is poor in terms of choice, the cook helps out, making an omelet. It is also problematic to get at the reception at least some kind of statement about staying at the hotel, even just indicating the dates.
