Golden Tulip Suites — Hotel in Eastern Province

I had stayed at Golden Tulip Khobar Corniche hotel in the past. This is another property which is close-by to the Golden Tulip Suites. The earlier experience was fine and based on it, I decided to choose this location for my stay with family this time. This property was established 2 years back and is a welcome addition to Khobar

Advantages (+) The location is the brilliant as the area is most under developed hence you won't find much traffic rather views of the water and under built construction sites welcome you (+) The property is spacious with roomy lobby, elevators, restaurants and rooms (+) I stayed with family and little kinds hence chose a suite with 2 King size bedrooms and lounge. This was enough space for 4 adults and 2 kids. (+) The in-room furniture, flooring and maintenance is quite good with proper cleaning (+) Complementary breakfast is rare for most of the motels and suites but the place offers a decent range of food items albeit limited

Disadvantages (-) The biggest dissapoint is the service level. Repeated calls and requests were done to get hold of baby cot, fresh towels, room service etc. (-) Despite having a proper kitchennette in the room, we were unable to do anything as no plates, cooking utensils or cutlery was provided to us (-) Yo do not get a direct sea view from any of the rooms as there is another building blocking the view (-) The breakfast is very basic with the same items on repeat consistently every day. No changes or additions are done. Even basic things like bread slices, omelette station, laban etc arent served. Upon my request for an omellete, I was politely declined as the policy did not allow for anything of that sort. (-) If you're planning to park your car in hotel parking, do think twice. The place is extremely congested with a high chance of bumping cars. Alternate is to park it outside on the road (-) There is no baqala or supermarket closeby. Hence take as many consumables with you as possible. The hotel only has one Lebanese restaurant which offers limited and very expensive food. (-) The swimming pool is a welcome addition but proper care is not being done. I could see flies and pencils floating around in the pool. No proper shower before and after the dip is also around the pool. (-) The bathrooms have a really bad stench which comes mostly from the drainage. No air purifiers are deployed to...

15th January 2021: Drastic change in dealing. Bad service, Non professional staff and hotel manager also. Bluff game. Twicely charged breakfast charges and after that restaurant staff says you are not covered for breakfast and himself resolve the issue with the hotel staff, No coordination in between departs and staff also. Over charged on arrival and we have no option to pay more in front of my guests. Need one extra blanket, which provide after 4rth call. Blanket condition is very bad, torn out. Heater not working, chilled rooms. Short of furniture in living room and old one. I have booked executive 2 room suite on 4rth floor. High volume music in night. drop rating to 1 star and never visit again. Not recommended.

Feb 2019: I have given 4 stars: Lovely place. Calm and clean. Recomended for those who need calm environment. Lovely dinning area. Open air plus sliding covers area. Restaurant / Dinning area view pays back your all cost. Buffet breakfast is good but not outstanding. Menu items having extra ordinary taste.

Road access is easy from Riyadh. Center place / easy excess from/ to all tourist areas, cornishe, half moon bay, Bahrain causeway.

Excellent customer service Helpful all the way.

Room/ suit condition is good, but I think not recheck/ makeup before check-in. Towel are missing, sewerege problem which resolved on complain. In my opinion these were resolved or cross check before check-in. Comfortable beds converted into comfortable sleep.

Sea view from all 4 Windows of the suit. Feel refreshing.

No significant problem faced. I will prefer to stay there on my future...
