Radisson property: Park Inn by Radisson Hotel and Apartments Dammam Industrial City, Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Apartment number 1209. Arrival: 4-November-2021, Departure: 6-November-2021.
First of all, I don't believe if this is the Radisson property. I have been stayed in many Radisson hotels (my current reward points are 280,068). I am business traveler and I do have also 209,314 rewards points in Marriott (Gold Elite).
Please find below my genuine feedback:
+ve: Security person at hotel's main entrance was very polite and speak fluent English.
-ve: Front desk took 15 mins for 2 check-ins without any queue at 01:30Am on 5-November-2021. No convenient parking available, most of the cars parked haphazardly (at reception and near apartment buildings). The roads from reception to apartment buildings and basement parking were too narrow with very sharp turns. No direction map, arrow or sign-board placed anywhere to find the allocated apartment from reception. No direction was given to drive from reception to apartment and we came back to reception after spent 15 mins searching for 1209 apartment at 2:00Am and then one person was sent by reception to give us direction. Slow internet (1.9 Mbps). Broken bed room lock. No Eye glass on the main door of the room. No side table for telephone (intercom), it was kept on the sofa. No extra tissue papers in the bathroom (u have to call room service at the hour of need). Smallest bathroom on the planet for the price paid and no shower curtain to stop the water from flowing into the whole bathroom. No sound proofing (my apartment was in front of lift door and I counted how many times lift came to the floor during 2 days stay in the hotel) No specific options for veg was offered in breakfast through I have clearly specified during booking because we all are strictly vegetarians. Only routine items like croissant, breads, cornflakes, cheese, dal, foul etc. were available. Completely waste of time in the breakfast. **No hairdryer, this is a must for ladies’ guest. ** No microwave in the kitchen. ** No toothbrush, saving kit, shower cap, slippers etc.
** These items were clearly mentioned for the selected apartment (One-Bedroom Apartment - Annex) at the time of booking on...
Read moreThe real gem of this property is their staff! From the reception, bellboy, restaurant staff, housekeeping, IT, and their manager, Ms. Safa, who keeps checking how comfortable our stay is. The breakfast is superb! We had so many options to choose from. I asked for hash brown for my toddler, and they prepared it fresh. We even spent our dinner there, and worth it! The interiors of the lobby and restaurant are minimalist first-class—color combinations of every area are pleasant in camera. However, with our One-Bedroom Suite (more extensive than we expected!), we found it lacking in colors, which the Park Inn Radisson is known for. The seating and dining area has only red upholstery, even their throw pillows. It is very plain and makes the room dark and not appealing when we see it in person and photos. Just putting yellow-mustard throw pillows and two dining chairs can make the place vibrant, engaging, and remarkable. The bedroom is huge! The headboard's lighting effects are cool! Only it's not comfortable for our eyes to keep it on when we're sleeping. But yes, we can switch it off. My kids enjoyed the bathroom because of the availability of the bathtub. As usual, the toiletries of Park Inn Radisson are aromatically pleasant! Very high quality! The place is quiet. If you only want to relax, sleep, and not hear the sounds of busy streets, this is the place where you can stay comfortably. There are pools for kids and adults, a children's play area, and a gym. If you travel with kids, make sure you bring first-aid kits and medications. The nearest pharmacy is 20.9 km away from the hotel. The hotel has no clinic, no in-house doctor/nurse, which I find necessary for a location that is very far from the city proper. Are we going back to this place? To be honest, I'm undecided. Maybe next time, if we come back to that area, I will consider a property near the beach and a pool. But with the brand like Park Inn Radisson, I know they cater families well and understand...
Read moreGreat Hotel with Exceptional Service, but Remote Location
I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious, well-maintained rooms that made my stay incredibly comfortable. The standout aspect of my visit was the exceptional service provided by the staff, especially the room boy,Mehedi .He was always friendly, prompt, and kept the room spotless each day. Whether I needed extra towels or assistance with room service, he went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.
However, it’s important to note that the hotel is located a bit far from the city center, and there aren’t many shops or restaurants nearby. While this might be ideal for guests looking for a peaceful, quiet stay, it can be inconvenient if you prefer to have easy access to local amenities. Fortunately, the hotel offers great services, including an on-site restaurant, but if you’re planning to explore the city or need to shop frequently, you may need to plan for transportation.
All in all, despite the remote location, the excellent service, comfortable rooms, and warm hospitality made this a stay worth remembering. I highly recommend [Hotel Name] for a relaxing getaway!
This version acknowledges the remote location while still emphasising the hotel’s positive aspects and the...
