Mirada Gold — Hotel in Jazan Province

I have just completed a 10-day stay at Miran Gold, and I must say, it has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel, I wished I only paid one night in advance only.

Firstly, the cleaning services were atrocious. They only managed to clean our apartment 3 times during our entire stay, despite multiple reminders, and waiting around for 5 hours occasionally while they repeatedly assured me they would come, disappointing.

The reception staff is another issue. They rarely pick up the phone or provide any help when needed. It’s clear that they lack proper customer service training. The only staff member who was somewhat helpful was Naif. You will see numerous cars waiting outside the reception as guests tire of waiting for basic services.

To make matters worse, the water was cut off often and at random hours, with no backup system in place to accommodate guests.

During my stay in room A9, I noticed that the pool appeared not to have been cleaned for months, with a lot of rubbish and dust.

Given the high prices you pay for this so-called 5-star hotel, it is astounding that even 1-star hotels offer better quality services. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from...

I spent 3 days here last week and the apartment was very spacious with a full kitchen and nice sitting room area, plus a large bedroom. The Bangladeshi assistant to the man at the reception area spoke good English, was friendly and made sure that I was comfortable during my stay. There was no breakfast or laundry service, but there is a Danube supermarket down by the waterfront area a 10-minute walk away. There are some coffee shops nearby and there is a shopping mall along the waterfront area next to the Double Tree Hilton Hotel. The only thing to do in Jizan seems to be to take the return ferry to Farasan for the day, but I didn't do it because you need to be at the terminal between 05:30-06:00 to check in for the 07:30 ferry departure and the return from Farasan is at 15:30. The service here is horrible 😑... They don't respond on time and the best part is the phone required to make a call at reception was dead ...i booked my room as i travelling all the way from Riyadh, with my kids , so i booked a room in advance on WhatsApp as the chat was Al generated there was a major miscommunication and i didn't get the room i booked on time..somehow they made me move into a single bedroom room ...where the lounge area was not working properly. It was hot and i couldn't use the a.c of that section at all.. Next is the cleanliness was OK but the drain in the washroom was getting clogged all the time whenever it was being used when i complained to them directly about it no one bothered to even respond to that ...over all the stay is not worth at all ...not at all...
