Holiday Inn Riyadh the Business District by IHG — Hotel in Riyadh Region

My wife and I stayed at Holliday Inn Hotel, District Business Center in Riyadh for 2 months, and we want to leave a thank you for the wonderful stay. The location and accommodation are great, close to the airport. Roshn Front Mall, including great restaurants, activity center with bowling, and Vox Cinemas (English movies included) is on 3 miles distance, which we walked many times.

The staff made our stay great. From General Manager Nael Tamim to the other Managers, Health Club Supervisor & Pt-Ft trainer, Chefs, Waiters, Bartenders, Reception, Administration employers, Valet Parkers, Cleaners & Room Service, Laundry employers, and Technicians, were very professional, extreme helpful, and friendly. Everybody spoke English, or an English speaking co-worker was in the neighborhood.

We want to thank also some other staff members by name. They were above expectations: Dana, Qusai and Basmah (all reception), Nayem, Shihab Mia, and Shukat (F&B bartenders L'Espressobar), Nouf, and other Chefs (Chef), Tony, Taslim, Touseef, Noman Fo (waiters), Anfal Al Anezi (Sales Manager), Hossam Elghamri (Health Club Supervisor & Pt-Ft trainer), and Didar and Mohamed Hassan (Valet).

The swimming pool was awesome, and well maintained by the technicians. Also the water quality of it was checked every day.

The room service was very nice. Even the AC vents were cleaned daily. The laundry service was very accurate, and everything in time back. The food was delicious, and every morning we got our special cappuccino during our breakfast. There was always an eye for detail. Even the water bottles were super.

The location appeared to be great. Staying just outside the city to avoid traffic and close to shopping and food. The problem was to get to these options 2km away you had to drive 10km the other way to a u-turn and then back to do a another u-turn. The room was big and the bed was nice...except it was full of dust. Left for the day and all the surfaces were caked with dust. I sat on the duvet and cloud of dust fill the air. Not good for my dust allergies. Floors were sticky, must be cleaning solution. At check in the valet took off with my car after I asked him to wait...with half of my items still in the car. Took 15 minutes to check in, even though I was the only person there and pre-paid. Walked down wrong corridor to find elevators because nobody told me where to go. The view is just desert. Opened the balcony door after being able to get it unstuck and dust went everywhere. Went to the coffee shop to get coffee and stood there for 10 minutes while the batista was at front desk having a laugh so I walked out because I had a meeting. The burger at the restaurant was surprisingly good. The green salad wasn't green but delicious. The club sandwich was terrible. A can of coke cost 15sr...robbery. for 1000sr per night stay i expected a way better experience. I...

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in the business district and had an overall positive experience. The location is excellent, especially for business travelers, with easy access to offices, restaurants, and public transport.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials needed for a work trip. The desk setup was convenient, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable, which made it easy to stay productive. I also appreciated the blackout curtains, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a long day.

The service stood out as a highlight. The staff was professional, friendly, and always willing to assist with requests, from arranging transportation to providing local recommendations.

The only drawback was the limited dining options on-site. While the breakfast buffet was decent, the variety for dinner could use some improvement, especially for longer stays. However, with plenty of restaurants nearby, this was a minor inconvenience.

Overall, the Holiday Inn in the business district provides great value for business travelers and offers the comfort and convenience you’d expect from the brand. I would recommend it and look forward to staying again...
