Shebara Resort — Hotel in Tabuk Province

The location and design of the resort are truly outstanding. I have rarely seen such clear and beautiful water. The architecture and the setting right by the sea are breathtaking. Most of the staff were friendly, and the massage at the spa was excellent.

However, there are several points that should never happen in this price category. I paid around 2,000 USD per night and expect a spotless room upon check-in. Instead, there were stains and dust in multiple areas of the villa. I’ve stayed in hotels at a quarter of the price with much cleaner rooms.

Another major issue was the airport transfer. Despite paying a high price for it, we were simply forgotten at the Turtle Beach Resort for the return trip to the airport. Had we not followed up ourselves, we would have missed our flight. While the staff were kind and attentive, they clearly lacked proper training. Many seemed inexperienced, which is unacceptable at a luxury resort of this level. The in-villa dining was extremely disappointing. The food arrived cold, the pizza dough was raw, and overall the quality was unacceptable, I have never experienced such poor in-room dining, especially not at this price level. Also the entrance door was extremly dirty, and on our whole stay it wasnt cleaned once. Also when we didn't wrote for a turndown service, no one would come. A turndown service is essential in a luxury hotel. Tiles on the pool were falling of and on some areas in the pool you would get scratches and cut yourself. There were no flip flops/sandals in our room but in everyone elses room there were. Watersport activities could only by used at certain beach, which again, as a top tier hotel you should be little more flexibel. No infos at checking in regarding breakfast and no tour of the resort.

Additionally, there was no entertainment or shows at day or nighttime, making it quite boring. Also theres not even liquid soap in the room only one small soap bar, I mean comon? It felt like they didn't knew we were coming. And we often had to wait a long time for buggies. I would also have expected more amenities inside the room. It honestly felt like influencers and TikTokers were provided with special extras that regular guests like us didn’t receive. Of course, it’s possible to call or message the staff, but when paying 2,000 USD per night, it becomes tiring to have to call for liquid soap, call about cleaning, call for every small thing. At this level, such basics should be guaranteed. Breakfast was also very limited, with far less variety than I’ve experienced even at standard 4-star hotels.

Overall, while the scenery and the unique experience of seeing this location once was fascinating, I cannot recommend the resort. For much less money, I have received far better service, spotless rooms, and a more professional overall experience. The Hottest Resort on Earth: The Hyper Luxury Shebara Resort

Last January, we saw a YT promotional reel of Shebara, and we couldn't believe it was real or AI generated! It was so surreal, futuristic and otherworldly! Finally, YT videos from YouTubers started coming in and we were hooked!! We made it a point to visit the resort this year, while it's still new and to celebrate my wife's birthday!

It was an agony for us, waiting for months just for this vacation to happen!

When we finally landed at the Redsea International Airport and saw how Mr. Chris took care of us at the arrival area, we knew we were on a trip of a lifetime!

Luxurious electric vehicles lined outside to pick us up, and Mr. Chris gave us a choice between: Lucid or Mercedes EQS; both were phenomenal cars!

It was a 25 minute drive to Turtle Bay resort (the docking area for the speedboats and Yachts going to the redsea beach resorts) and the kind driver kept us entertained by sharing the history of the country and the major projects in the area.

Kind staff members of Turtle Bay assisted us to the waiting area. And after around 40 minutes, we were escorted to the Yacht together with the other guests! The sea ride was quite bumpy, but we knew we were in good hands with the experienced Captain and crew.

After 45 minutes, we finally saw Shebara spaceport, I mean Shebara Paradise on the horizon! It was a jaw-dropping moment for all of us, seeing the spaceship-looking, overwater villa orbs aligned neatly on the water.

And then we saw the general manager, Ms. Carla, and the staff patiently waiting for us on the dock, waving at us! We could feel their warmth and eagerness to welcome us even from half a kilometer away!

From the moment we set foot on the resort, it was all pinch-me moments from there on! We couldn't believe we were finally there, that this futuristic paradise existed! We felt like we time traveled into the future! Like, we were dreaming but with our eyes wide open! No words can describe the full awesomeness of their villas, you must be there to experience it first hand.

It rarely rains in the area, so you always have the chance to capture beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

The staff in duty last Aug. 31 to September 2 were superb and ultra kind! My apologies for not remembering all the names of those people we had encountered. But I would like to mention a few:

When booking our trip to Sheraba, I came across a few reviews claiming the resort was not worth the price. After spending three unforgettable days here for the start of our honeymoon, I can confidently say we had the complete opposite experience.

The location is truly one of a kind. The colors of the sea are unlike anything I’ve seen, even compared to the Maldives or the Caribbean. The island is pristine, untouched, and simply breathtaking. Getting there by a short boat ride is already part of the magic, setting the tone for what’s to come.

The resort itself feels almost otherworldly. The service is both highly professional and genuinely warm. We were personally welcomed by the Operations Manager, given a tour, and throughout our stay everyone made sure we felt cared for on this special occasion. Whatever we needed, a simple WhatsApp message was enough and it was done instantly, no matter the request. It’s the little details that make the difference and here, they’ve thought of everything.

Our villa was stunning: spacious, beautifully decorated (exactly how I would style my own home), and equipped with top-quality finishes. Our private pool was perfect, and the in-room bar offered a fantastic selection. I especially appreciated the constant supply of bottled water and amenities, no need to ask, everything was just there for us to enjoy.

The food was exceptional both in the restaurants and in-room dining. Usually, room service never quite matches the restaurant experience, but here it was delivered warm, beautifully presented, and delicious no matter the time of day.

We also made use of the gym, which is modern, fully equipped with the latest Technogym machines, an InBody scanner, and is located next to a lovely pool.
