Hôtel Club Safari — Hotel in M'bour

The hotel has charming gardens. The pool , terrace and restaurant area is charming. ||We ate three times in the restaurant. The food was very good , well priced & with choices we liked. The fixed price daily menu is 5 cfa for entree and main.|| The bar prices are also very reasonable. ||Rooms are spacious with wifi & decent bathrooms. Swimming pool is very pleasant & quiet. ||The welcome at reception was cold & always felt a nuisance if you needed anything. Our t.v. did not work & we had to ask five times for it to be seen to. Eventually after asking for another room we got moved but nobody helped with baggage. ||Marie - Therese in the bar / restaurant is always helpful and smiling. ||Breakfast was acceptable but no eggs , meats or cheeses so not really a buffet. They did offer fresh crepes with jams.||Nearby beach is not very clean...

The hotel is a closed compound. On the inside rooms are around a pool and another courtyard, all on the ground floor. All the walls are covered with white seashells, what gives this place a unique touch. My room was comfortable with a good bed and attached bathroom. Air condition was available but not necessary when I stayed. Other than the outside it was a bit bland though, not a homely place at all. It is however clean and functional, and overall good value for money. The beach is right behind the property however down a steep path, and it is not a particularly nice beach there. I had dinner at the restaurant once, the food did not impress me but the setting on the outside terrace is nice and quiet. Staff was efficient enough, but otherwise rather indifferent. Séjour chambre 11 du 21/7 au 02/08.||Petit hôtel calme avec 12 chambres spacieuses.||Propose des excursions, présence d’ une boutique.||Chambre double à usage triple spacieuse.||Clim fonctionnelle/lit confortable avec moustiquaire.||Restaurant intérieur et extérieur/piscine accessible jusqu’à 22h. ||Demi pension avec buffet petit déjeuner avec crêpes😍/confitures/nutella sénégalais avec dakatine 🤗/boissons chaudes/froides/pain frais/kiri...||Repas du midi/soir bons.||Toujours 2 choix (entrée/plats/desserts avec plat du jour sénégalais).||Personnel au top: Marie Therese, Mata, Mamadou Ndioye, Tamsir, le « Mr de la piscine » vraiment le séjour était super grâce à eux.||Ils ont tout fait pour rendre le séjour agréable.||Réactifs, la serrure de la porte ne fonctionnait pas, elle a été changée dans la 1/2 heure.||Pas de coupure d’eau et sur 2 semaines, il y a eu 4 coupures d’électricité qui ont duré 30 mns maximum. ||Piscine magnifique nettoyée plusieurs fois/ jour avec 3 niveaux de profondeur.||Douche et WC en extérieur accessibles après un plongeon dans la piscine.||La wifi est fonctionnelle vers la piscine mais peu dans les chambres.||Les seuls points négatifs: ||- à notre arrivée en nuit, nous n’avions pas à manger après 2 vols avec escale pourtant nous en avions convenu avec l'hôtel. Mon mari a dû sortir vers 1h chercher à manger.||- les moustiquaires on fait leur temps, trouées il y avait déjà des noeuds et j’en ai faits de nouveaux.||Le lit est carré et la moustiquaire est « ronde », elle n’est pas adaptée au format du lit.||Sinon séjour au top avec de belles rencontres et des découvertes culinaires:...
