Hotel Mbaila in Senegal was a great experience overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the setting is beautiful—quiet, green, and relaxing. E' una struttura a tre stelle "vere" e piene, posizionato praticamente sull'Oceano Atlantico e con un tratto di spiaggia privata, provvisto di lettini e ombrelloni.||Le camere sono spoglie ma pulite, il giardino e la spiaggia privata ombreggiati da palme, ed il ristorante sotto un fresca tettoia in legno.||Lo staff è gentilissimo e pronto a farsi carico di eventuali problemi (la TAP stava perdendoci i bagagli, ed il proprietario ha seguito passo-passo l'evolversi della situazione con telefonate giornaliere e l'interessamento di un loro referente in aeroporto).||||Il wi-fi è presente nelle aree comuni (non l'ho testato, ma parecchi ospiti facevano colazione e leggevano il tablet... de gustibus ^_^)||||L'unico lato negativo lo potrei individuare nella cucina: piuttosto cara ed abbastanza "incolore", senza la presenza di piatti senegalesi sul menu.||||Attenzione: NON ACCETTANO carte di credito, ma solo contanti, e le banche dei dintorni hanno i bancomat che funzionano "random". La banca più vicina all'hotel è una sede della BCIS, all'incrocio che porta al centro di Mbour||||PS Una cosa che a qualcuno potrebbe dare fastidio: il bagno è separato dalla camera solamente...

I am working in Senegal and my work allows me to come to Saly for weekends. I have stayed at several different hotels including Le Mbaila. The food at Mbaila is incredible. Better than any higher end resort. Fresh, great service. Even if you are staying somewhere else walk the beach and come here for lunch or dinner....
