Campement LA CASAMANCE (ex. Alulum) — Hotel in Oussouye

Watch out for ⚠️ thieves here! We had dinner in the lobby and didn't go out of the hotel. Because we will soon return to the room, while we are waiting for dinner, someone enters our room and steals 40,000 CFA francs. Since we were very tired after dinner, we quickly rested. The next morning we found that the money was missing because our money was on the bed, and we thought we were not looking for it carefully enough. So I decided to go out first and take a closer look when I returned to the hotel. Note that so far, I didn't realize that my money had been taken, because I trusted the locals very much, everyone was very friendly, and my subconscious directly ruled out the possibility that there would be hotel personnel stealing my things. So when we searched carefully, we found that the money was indeed missing, and it couldn't have disappeared out of thin air, right? So we immediately notified the hotel staff, and the staff said that they would immediately inform the boss of the situation and give me a result. It happened that yesterday was December 31st, and there was a very big event in the area, and most people went to bed in the early morning. We trusted the staff of the hotel very much, so we were in no hurry to ask for results. When we checked out today, I asked the hotel owner if he knew that my money had been stolen, he said that no one told him about it, and accused me that I did not lock the door,so I deserved to have my money stolen, they would not bear any responsibility, and their attitude was very arrogant. And he also accused me of lying and trying to steal money from the hotel. My God, I always thought that this money was difficult to get back, and I didn't plan to get the 40,000 CFA francs back, I just wanted an attitude, even if the boss said sorry to me sincerely, I would not write this evaluation so angrily. Pierre provides an amazing experience in Oussouye! He is an accommodating host and tour guide. He arranged an enlightening cultural experience with the local King for us. We stayed 4 nights in this beautifully designed house with a set of 12 rooms arranged around a little oasis garden. The room had air conditioning and while simple was spacious and comfortable. An upper level terrace offers a great view of the sunset over the rice fields. But the real magic is with the owner Pierre who gently ensures that everyone is well looked after and happy.
