Like one of your other recent Reviewers, I cannot understand why the KEPARANGA Hotel Bar Restaurant ** is categorised by Trip Advisor under "Inns and B&B". It is a pukka hotel with an excellent restaurant, which has one of the very best cuisines in Saly.||I have not stayed in the hotel as I live locally and went there to dinner for the first time last night. It was a great experience to dine there. ||We had a warm personal welcome from the manager and all of his staff were charming, polite and professional. The "a la carte" menu has a broad range of Italian and French cuisine and I would certainly recommend the Cannelloni stuffed with spinach and ricotta, the Coeur de Filet de Boeuf "primavera" and the Risotto al Fungi e Pesto. The Keparanga boasts a comprehensive wine-list, too. We opted for a modest South African "Zoulou" red.||The whole dinner for two including aperitif and wine came to a very reasonable 37'000 CFA francs (= +/- $74).||I look forward to returning.||Alastair J. ...
Read moreWe had a destination wedding at Keperanga in 2015 and it was everything we could have hoped for. We booked the entire hotel for a weekend of fun with family and friends from all over the world, and I don’t think we could have found a better location. The facilities are amazing (big beautiful pool, modern rooms and a great outside area) and the pricing was very competitive. The manger was great to deal with and made the preparations leading up to the wedding very easy for me and my husband. He was accommodating and flexible, and made sure that everything was taken care of. In addition to delicious food (they have a great chef), cake and drinks were included and all we had to do was to lean back and relax by the pool. Our Senegalese, American and European family continue to complement us on the beautiful wedding we had and the amazing scenery we had chosen. A great place for anyone who is looking for a place to host an event or just to relax by the pool for a...
Read moreWe stayed at the Keparanga for two nights last week. We were on our way to the delta area and decided to rest a couple of days in the Saly area. Let me say that Saly is forgettable; Keparanga is an oasis in that area. The hotel is located about 3 kms. from the city and beach action of Saly. The hotel is first rate in many ways. The rooms are modern and complete; the food served in the dining areas was very good; and the staff are excellent. Again, we faced some difficulties because of language issues, but it didn't wreck our time. Rooms and breakfast are around $115 per night. The breakfast was not up to our standard, but the world isn't perfect. If you need a place in the Saly area don't hesitate to book...
