Grand Hotel & Restaurant — Hotel in Backa Palanka Municipality

We only visited the restaurant for lunch. I ordered Karađorđeva steak and it was delicious. The price was also great, some 20 euros for two meals. The cook knows what they are doing and they are using fresh ingredients. The waiters were polite and expedient. It was smoky inside, so we sat outside, but they have recently erected a children's playground, separated from the patio by some weird shrubbery. Anyhow, parents kept yelling at their children the whole time (because they had trouble seeing them), so the atmosphere was awful. I came for the peaceful setting but won't be coming back, because the restaurant is no longer a quiet forest retreat which was their biggest allure that set them apart from similar establishment...

Why would you go to Backa Palanka ?||For me it was for business.||||The hotel is the middle of the woods. It is nice and quiet surroundings.||||The hotel is very old style. It lacks proper lighting everywwhere (rooms, restaurant). This place is incredible. The people that work here go out of their way to accommodate you and are so nice. The Room we had (#7) was awesome. And dinner was so delicious, everything was so fresh. Had the special "Parmesan Crusted Salmon". Can't say enough great things about this Hotel. If you are ever in the area do yourself a favor and stay...
