Викендица Monte Queen 1 — Hotel in Bajina Basta Municipality

The place needs a serious attendance from the owners, it looks like it hasn't been serviced since they started renting it. Cleaning was terrible. Dust and dirt under the carpets, beds and sofa, cleaning was done by an old lady between the previous guests who left at 10am and us arriving around 1:30pm. Opened bag of crisp was found under one of the beds by our kids. There is no storage space for your clothes, no cupboards, no shelves, no drawers not even a single hook to hang a towel never the less ur clothes, we had to leave our clothes in our suitcases on the floor for the duration of 5 days. The bathroom : the toilet seat was totally detached, the shower head one is broken and the other one has scale that the water doesn't flow properly and the water heater heats the water too slow that after the third person taking a shower there is no more hot water. . When we called they said there is no one that can come and fix these issues. The Jacuzzi wasn't cleaned and the water was dirty and we had to call for them to come , they sent the old lady who supposedly have cleaned before our arrivals. She emptied it and refilled the water that took more than 2 hrs process and the water took a day to reach the required temperature. Btw there is no door at the room for the Jacuzzi, and again not a single hook to hang a towel. And sauna is too small but working. We stayed for 6 days. On our second day the heating system stopped and my husband and his brother had to go down and clean the furnace and look on youtube how to do so, this was the eve of Serbian Christmas till almost midnight. We managed to fix it and we inform the owner who apologized and said she has a small baby and no one to come. Then 2 nights later, again it happened in the middle of the night the temp was 17degress and again the men went down and tried to fix it, after calling the owner again expressing how unprofessional she has handled everything so far she called a neighbor who came to check and fix the issue. We were asked to take our garbage with us in our cars, which we couldn't do as we didn't have spaces in our trucks and we were still going on the ski slopes. I must say the host is very unprofessional, whenever we called, all she could say is, I'm sorry I have a small baby and my husband is not available. If she can't do this business then she can hire someone on her behalf who would be available and welling to look...

On the contrary to previous reviews, we had a great time in Monte Queen 1. The place was clean, warm and hosts were attentive and welcoming. We had an issue with heating system upon our arrival, but it was fixed with short instructions from the owner over the phone. The house has heated floors, it’s very warm and cosy. Jacuzzi bath was clean and warm all the time (36C), we didn’t use infrared sauna. It has large TV with cable TV, WiFi and a TV in bedroom upstairs. Kitchen is fully equipped with oven and microwave, large fridge with a freezer compartment. Bedrooms are upstairs. We used only one bedroom since there was 3 of us. The front yard has a cute kids area with a swing and a slide. The location is 10 min drive from Mitrovac, where you have one small shop for food and supplies. Downside is that heating system needs refills with pellet, so if you don’t have a man who is willing to go outside in winter and refill it, prepare yourself for that. But the heating is...
