Hostel Jedro doo - Novi Beograd — Hotel in City of Belgrade

Prior to coming, the host claimed via message that everything was okay and they were waiting for us. On the day of our arrival he ignored my message and when I calles the number provided, someone entirely else picked up the phone who didn't even know we had booked a room. Very sketchy. After a little going back and forth and not even hearing from Slobodan at all, the other person gave us a number to call of a person who would accept to accommodate us last minute. Not exactly the ideal situation when you have been travelling for a whole day and have a concert to attend. I only managed to contact Slobodan after our new host gave me a number, and he was very suspicious, acting like we had never booked. At this point it was already past our intended check-in time so I wouldn't have been able to get a full refund. I wrote to Airbnb and got Slobodan to cancel the reservation so I can get my money back. A terrible and stressful experience, and the host ans his organization...

We were extremely disappointed... Especially by the attitude of the hosts son, who was there, when we arrived… First we didn't get a response from the host for 8 hours... when we were already in front of the hostel, he wrote that they are overbooked and have no more room... The host wasn't even there, only his son, who was very weird, nonchalantly sitting and smoking all the time. Our (fully paid in advance) room with own bathroom, was double booked and already full. We were offered a room that was already booked by some other people, who haven't arrived, yet, which was shabby, with a shared bathroom, which was even dirtier, stinking gross... We declined the room and the hosts son became very rude, even aggressive, started to shout to sue him and his father, for all he cares… There was a group of 9 people, whose booked rooms were double...

BED BUGS ALERT!!! it was the worst and dirty hostel i have ever stayed, all stuff and especially their owner was so much disrespectful, in some of their hostel rooms they had bed bugs problems kindly asked them to changed my room and clean it.... They blamed me to bring bugs in hostel and even threat me like İ AM A DANGEROUS MAN, if you don't like it leave it or pay for cleaning of the room or poisoning... And when refused they try to kick me out for this dumb reason.... Never and ever stay here don't waste...
