Kame Hotel Belgrade — Hotel in City of Belgrade

Following the Expedia advice, I booked Kame hotel for all my 3 trips in May-June. I made these reservations about a month before my first trip. Before the first trip I found that it is virtually impossible to communicate with the hotel. I send 4 emails concerning possible shuttle bus service from the airport to the Kame hotel. Only the last one was answered. They convinced me that I would be met at the airport, but in fact nobody was there to meet. At the hotel I found that practically nobody can speak English and the main language used in the hotel is Chinese. At the reception they refused to help me to get a taxi for my way to the airport. |My second booking, which was made more than one month before my second flight, was simply canceled and I got a message about this at the last moment, on the night before my second flight to Belgrade. This put me in a very difficult situation. They proposed to give me a half price reduction on my next booking. When I asked them to confirm that this can be applied for my last third booking they simply did not answer. A week later, I received information from Expedia that my third booking was canceled as well by the Kame hotel without any explanation of the reason. |I found Kame hotel very unfriendly and totally unreliable. Never use it if you do not want problems similar to mine. And I simply wonder how at all this terrible hotel got quite positive...

We weren't sure what to expect when booking a room at the KAME Hotel, but our experience turned out to be absolutely wonderful. Before our arrival, the hotel reached out via email and asked us to send a WhatsApp message for airport pickup. Once we did, they quickly replied with clear instructions on where to meet. We were picked up promptly in a BMW and driven to the hotel, which is about 7–10 minutes away in a quiet residential area, mostly Chinese. Check-in was smooth, and we were in our clean, comfortable room in no time after a long day of travel.||There’s a supermarket about a 7-minute walk from the hotel, and the front desk staff kindly gave us directions. We picked up a few things for a light dinner, though there are also several nearby restaurants and Chinese food options available at the hotel itself. We had an early flight the next morning, and true to their word, someone was ready to take us to the airport at 3:45 a.m. sharp. The service was good, they provided free airport pick up and drop off with clear instructions on where to wait. Although they didn’t show up for almost half an hour of us waiting. The hotel isn’t very close to the airport or the city centre so you do need a car if you’re staying here. The location isn’t convenient, and when we arrived the hotel had no running water. We were given a large bottle of water for drinking. The brkfst was included but our flight was very early in the morning so we couldn’t eat it. We asked for something to be packed to take with us but that wasn’t provided even though brkfst was to be included. The room was clean, although quite small.
