This hotel is maybe 2* or 3* hotel when it comes to design, garden but cleanliness is -1||||Hotel staff at reception especially is super nice but there is usually 1 person per shift doing 3 jobs at the same time ( front office, bar-tendering, serving drinks)||||I was at the hotel 8 nights, had to move 3 times during my stay. ||Each time I was moved to a different room category at the same price. First room was with balcony and of course the other 2 had no balcony, not to mention different bed etc...but they all cost the same, staff says room is a room. maybe next time they can give me a suite.||||First room had door leading to a private balcony and a bird nest right outside the door, so I could not open the door or use the balcony. bed light did not work, there were hair in the bed and in the bathroom.. but they offered me another room and I said fine. Then they moved me to a room with 2 beds put together instead of a king bed.. where in the bathroom there was a huge red fresh stain on the floor and also on the towel.. i took towel at 2AM upon entering the room to the lobby and they moved me again at 2AM to another room. Again different category. Spiders webs everywhere, behind the heater, on the ceiling. My sheets were not changed once unless I was moving to a new room. ||Filip, the receptions was very helpful as much as he could be as he has no power. ||Since I had very unpleasant stay I requested to speak to the owner Peter. Mr. Peter is very unpleasant, very rude, careless person who should not be in hospitality industry as he doesnt share or understand the main values of the hospitality. He told me that I could have gone to another hotel if I did not like his hotel and that his housekeeping will not vacuum behind the heater and under the desk.. its too much to expect I guess...||it is sad to see that people like this run hotels and have some sort of power...do not stay at this hotel, there are other hotels as Owner Peter Denic says, that you can enjoy while staying in...
Read moreWe stayed at Hotel Royal as a large family occupying 7 rooms for 7 nights. The hotel appearance looks very run down, when you park up and half of the 'hotel royal' sign just says 'tel royal' it gives bad first impressions. We arrived and only had 6 rooms so 5 of us had to share a room for one night. One room had air con that didn't work and another couple were put in a single room. In my room it clearly hadn't been cleaned as there were eye lashes left in the bathroom.... At this point I was just glad to have a room. One family member had a 1 year old and she could have fallen through the large gaps out of the balcony on the first floor. After the teething problems were ironed out the hotel was functional. The waiters were really friendly and couldn't do enough for you. This hotel could be really nice with a bit of revocation, the garden in beautiful. Simple things like fixing the fridges and air cons in the rooms would make the hotel...
Read moreI appreciated the gorgeous parquette flooring, shiny timber furniture, brand new TV and beautiful view of the river, and farmers in the field. All three staff I dealt with went above and beyond to help me, particularly getting me a reliable taxi to and from Maglic Fortress.||||I do need to take star off for some decor needing refurbishment, but this is a great place and I...
