Stobex — Hotel in City of Loznica

Quaint little hotel with signage problem. But lets start from...well, start. Hotel itself isn't anything overall, with reception located in a second building and not close to the rooms. Rooms are decent but won't leave you breathless. WiFi is free and open. Now, the good parts: there's a big pool near the room building, as well as several slides (nothing big, but fun nevertheless) as well as a small, toddler pool with appropriate slides too. Hotel also has a massive wedding room, mostly for weddings, and it is a small mercy it is also situated a bit further from the rooms, as music can be quite loud. It is quite nicely decorated so if you need a place for a meeting of some 50 - 300 people, I highly recommend it. Hotel also has a decent parking lot, but since there are other business around the hotel, expect to see various strangers coming in and out, so security might be a bit of an issue, although, nothing...

Disappointing experience – avoid

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The rooms were untidy, with trash left behind, indicating a complete lack of cleanliness and maintenance. Additionally, there was no heating in the rooms, which is especially unacceptable given that we booked the stay for New Year's Eve.

To make matters worse, there was a power outage during our stay, forcing us to change rooms and move to another building on the second day. The new room was extremely cold, like a refrigerator, with only a small heater that was completely ineffective at warming up the space.

Such organization and conditions are far below the standards a hotel should provide. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel until they improve their services and ensure basic...

Hotel Stobex is a relatively new hotel in Loznica. It opened about 12 months ago. A new wing opened in June 2018. A third wing, bar, outdoor kitchen and pool is currently under construction and will open, I’m told, towards the end of July.||The rooms are excellent. Spacious, modern and comfortable. There is a good choice of TV channels in a number of languages. Rooms have a desk and also have good quality, broadband Internet.||The hotel also has a good restaurant and bar, open for breakfast and dinner, with both indoor and outdoor seating.
