Hotel Nais — Hotel in City of Niš

It's not easy to give review and to be objective when this property is about. First time open 30 years ago, from the beginning was with a lot of controversy, because it was, and stay, the only luxury hotel on highroads in Serbia, with huge capacity, but also with the same problem that repeats from opening couple of times. This hotel never worked well, far away from full capacity, even and first version was ultra modern for that time. And after few years of trying, hotel was stopping with works, after that easily to fail, and after some period a new owner was buying Nais, put a lot of money, make it again to look great, but the same story was repeating. Nowdays situation is the same, hotel become ownership of one we'll known politician, he put a lot of money inside, you can see from a photos, but honestly, if for 30 years of existing of this hotel is clear that big and luxury hotel is not something that travellers or locals need on highway, I really doubt that someone open it with idea that he will earn the money, especially with the same price for one night like have it hotel with 5 stars in city centre (Nis). During the Balkan Tango Blast event in Sep. 2021, here are the few things that the participants of the hotel encountered during their stay:||- All 2-bed rooms booked in advance were changed to 3 bed.||- In a room with a single woman participant, two men, not even related to the event were checked-in||- Another woman was charged for the whole room when two of her neighbours left two days earlier||- I had to pay for the additional two days stay, even though it was clearly stated that the DJ of the event gets these two days for free, and the young and shy front man, when I refused to pay, explained, "sir, the manager told me that if I don't make you pay, it will be taken out of my salary". This charge is currently being disputed by the credit company.||- The kitchen stuff was extremely slow and sloppy, we had not got our meals on time even once during the whole stay, even though it was all discussed and agreed upon in advance.||||Overall - stay away from this hotel, either if you are a single traveler, or, avoid it at all costs, if you are planning an...

About "the restaurant" of this hotel, it's just a very big price for a bad food. It's another cheating business for clients on the serbian highway A1! Bad food, ugly place, prices are very big and the service is telling you: I have a small salary and kids at home. Seems like they ask for tips, but for a bad food! Sorry for the turkish chef - food is bad! Go to any place you want în Turkey and you'll eat at 5 eur great food !
