Hotel Emro — Hotel in City of Novi Pazar

We had been driving for 6 long hours, eagerly awaiting the respite of our accommodation and eating delightful food at the restaurant (that the hotel has posted so many photos of).

Unfortunately upon arrival, we found ourselves completely alone, not a soul to be seen nor heard. We wandered into the freezing cold restaurant through it's obviously opened front door to find no one and nothing, except for a mobile phone on the table with no owner, our voices echoing around the empty location. We wandered upstairs to the rooms, again, no other forms of life around.

Luckily for us, the wifi was open so we we're able to call to the hotel owner multiple times and WhatsApp but to no avail. Even now, 3 hours after arrival we have no word from the owners. I hope they are ok?

We sat outside on the front doorstep where it was far warmer than the cold hollow shell that is this accommodation and three youths appeared from inside the deserted building - ghosts maybe? They certainly weren't there when we were shouting for signs of humans. One youth got onto a motorbike and promptly proceeded to almost crash into an oncoming car. A second came over to us and asked if we had a booking to which we said yes - he then ushered us inside, picked a bedroom at random (i.e not the one we booked) and left us to it.

Not really sure what to do next, we sat in the room for a bit hoping for an adult to appear. No such adult arrived so we left the property and found somewhere else.

A truly weird experience, luckily we had a car and it was still daylight. Would not recommend staying here.... Even had we stayed, any odd bod from the busy street outside could have strolled on in...

What a bizzare nightmare. We arrived to check-in to the hotel, but there was not a soul in sight although all the doors were open and the radio on. Our voices echoed through the empty halls.

Suddenly, out of nowhere three children arrive and appear to pick a room at random for us to stay in. It certainly wasn't our suite with balcony we'd booked online.

They then disappeared down the road on a scooter, leaving the entire hotel, bar and restaurant still completely empty except for us and our bags.

Certain this was the beginning of a B-grade horror film, we wandered upstairs to our randomly assigned bedroom.

Behind door number 8 - the final straw - our cold dimly lit room contained only a double bed, and two oranges sitting on a table. An attempt at Valencian minimalism maybe?

Finally giving up on finding anyone to help us, we used their free, open WiFi and found a new, much nicer hotel. One with actual...

Visoka ocena uglavnom zbog vlasnika i dobre energije. Mnogo smo lepo dočekani, a stigli smo veoma kasno. Očigledno je uloženo mnogo truda u hotel, zaista se vidi. Lepo je opremljen, postoji dodatna posteljina, zajednički kuhinjski deo, SPA, gym, restoran.. Preživeli su koronu tako da su stvari sada u hotelu malo drugačije, na primer, restoran trenutno ne radi. Hotel ima veliki potencijal samo je potrebno doraditi neke sitnice, možda samo i da se oporave od korone. Sobe imaju velike terase, spojene sa drugim sobama, malo nezgodno jer u teoriji svako može da vam uđe u sobu ako ne zatvorite vrata od terase, a ne postoji drugi način za ulaženje vazduha. Bilo bi poželjno i postojanje klime. Takođe, treba imati neke utičnice pored kreveta. Sobe su generalno čiste i korektne, krevet je bio odličan. Kupatilo moderno opremljeno i čisto! U sobi postoji flat screen TV. Pozadi postoji i malo jezero sa labudovima/patkama. Pogled sa terase divan. U svakom slučaju, svaka čast vlasnicima, vi činite ovaj hotel zaista velikim! Lepo je videti da se neguje otvoreni odnos između gostiju, i...
