We were a group of three persons on a bicycle trip from Vienna to Istanbul. We stayed at Orlovi's hotel for one night in May 2024. First, we were warmly welcomed by a lady and the owner Nikolai. When we stepped in he sayed "20 euros per person because you are so crazy." This was a fair price according to the rooms which were offered. After asking for a good place for dinner, Nikolai insisted to eat at his place. We agreed and waited 1 hour until a cold plate with ham and bread was served. During our waiting time Nikolai told us his whole life story without asking any questions to let us feel comfortable. Even when we ate he stayed on his seat right at our table and did not stop talking. Next day we wanted to pay. Then he started to calculate super expensive prices. Starting from 35 euros per person and 10 euros per person for the dinner. Even for the instant coffee in the morning he asked for 3 euros per person. In the end he insisted to get 145 euros for one night. We rejected and therefore he tried to harass us with saying "I call the police" and stuff like that. I do not want to shame him but the only explanation for this behaviour is the beer consumption which already tarted in the morning at 8am until night time. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were clean and comfortable and the shower was hot and working well. On top of this they accommodated 3 humanitarian aid trucks safely and securely in their yard. We would have stayed their on our return journey but the timings...
