Etno selo Zavicaj — Hotel in Gornji Milanovac Municipality

We've celebrated a New Year here and I must say the venue exceeded our expectations. The location is very peaceful and quiet - you can enjoy the silence or birds singing and we've even met a rabbit a few steps away from village territory in the evening time. Nights are very starry and the air is super clean, despite being in a close proximity to several small cities. Grounds, despite the vast territory are perfectly maintained - landscape design is nice and there are numerous artifacts around - starting with the watching tower with the table and chairs, ending with carriage, decorated with the local paintings. Interior of the houses is also nice - they are rather small (we've stayed in a two bedroom house), yet has all necessary. Again, there's a lot of crafted objects (wooden furniture, small decorative objects), which create a very cozy atmosphere. Most importantly - owner (or manager - not sure) - she is very kind & friendly and assisted us in all the ways possible. We've made a mistake by bringing our food - after sampling delicious local dishes and home cooked bread we wished we opted for a full board (not sure, if it's an option though). Exceeding expectations is an understatement. The setting, the accommodation, the winter weather: everything was perfect. We spent our days outdoors exploring the expansive property, making snowmen, and feeding the chickens. My daughter made a best friend in “Baba Ljilja”, the generous owner and host who made us feel part of her family. We will never forget our Christmas/New Year adventure. Jedno od najlepsih i najurednijih etno sela u Srbiji. Domacica Ljilja je jedna divna i vredna zena koja ce vas i docekati i ispratiti sa osmehom. Prava srpska zena i domacica! Hrana je vrhunska i jako lepo servirana. Sve je domace. Posebno preporucujem jagnjetinu, krompirice i kozji sir. Lepse palacinke nigde nisam jela. Kod Ljilje mozete kupiti i domace proizvode poput dzemova od bresaka, jabuka, sljive, maticne sokove, kozji sir po vrlo pristupacnim cenama.
